I know this is the modern game but hard not to be disappointed in Brad when all's said & done.
Wants to move to a city with 10 teams but demands we deal with only 1 so he pockets maximum cash while we are prevented from having much bargaining power.
Are the reports of his contract at Freo being front-ended accurate? If so, all the more reason to feel ripped off.
Also really disappointed in Brad not staying. He was one of the few players on our list who bought genuine excitement to our day at the footy

However as I can remember back to when I was 25 years old , I would have changed employers for $5k per year so we cannot blame him for being seduced by the extra $300-400k

Will we go three picks four or five?
Three 7, 10, 22, 50 (traded if we don't use it for pointers bid)
The Henry thing really begs something like 7 10 22 24 if we go four picks.
If we go five maybe 7,10,17,22,24 or 7,10,12,22,24

I thought Taylor was a medium sized flashy forward, kind of in the vein of Sturt. I hadn't really heard of him playing midfield but haven't watched a whole lot of him to be fair, seen enough to know he's decent. That being said, we're already pretty well stocked in terms of medium and tall forwards, does he really fill a need?

Say it's draft night and we've stocked up on a few decent mids, and both Jackson and Taylor are available, who would you lot prefer out of Taylor or Jackson?

Taylor.

Surely bell pulls a surprise of some kind. Before the draft:
-We will be very active
-We understand fyfe needs help in the middle
-We have a plan
-Expect a surprise or 2
-Worst case we have a strong hand to take to the draft..

yep hes a medium size forward but once the ball hits the ground hes really dynamic in the contest around there so i reckon he could become a midfielder once he gets above his 70kg on 185cm frame.

Fair call, I'm indifferent between the two really. But just for arguments sake, consider the descriptions of Jackson "as an extra mid", supposedly very good at ground level too and he's got size on Taylor.

Everyone likes money! I'm no different- but to skip out 2 years early on a contract that has seen you already pocket most of the cash is pretty hard to take (if his contract was front-ended as has been suggested). Especially so when the circumstances greatly diminish our club's chances of getting adequate compensation.

how many ruckman actually become midfielders and how many small forwards become midfielders.
