Yeh, rubbish, Liam made a poor choice that benefited the family’s moment at the expense of the greater community good. Had he continued his career there’d have been much more resources to have been able to benefit his family. You literally have NFI and you’re actually a racist.

Yet Andrew Mcleod also believes family is more important. He is pretty big on it. Jurrah can't help who is his family.

Eddy Betts was lucky to survive his time in Melbourne away from family. Gambling drinking and more. Wasted a lot of money. Stifled his career. He hasn't looked back since coming home and closer to family.

Jurrahs situation is tragic. Conversely look what the Essendon family did to ryder. Risked the future of his children by pumping him full of horse drugs and dementia drugs solely for profit. Solely because of the same toxic culture Australian cricket is in after the bogan cheats Warner and Smith ruined cricket over.

Did Essendon only give Ryder those drugs?

What Ryder doesn’t have a brain and the ability to think for himself? Sorry, you got to do better than that. There is a thing called personal responsibility - to yourself and your family. He neglected his role.

If someone is going to give something to take, you ask questions. What are the risks, what is it?

Care to explain the difference?

In your explanation can you put it in the context of the relationship the AFL player has with the agent/manager and the way the dynamic works within the confines of that relationship that defines it as agency rather than management.

Please and thankyou.

Firstly, even if player agents were required to be accredited wealth managers, it wouldn't mean that they're actually engaged by the player in that role. Secondly, do you think player agents are required to be accredited wealth managers? Do you go to your rental property manager for financial advice because they're an agent of yours? I'm actually intrigued as to where the term 'player manager' actually comes from. The AFL accredits player agents, there's no mention of them accrediting player managers or wealth managers. I think sometimes people just assume that because I guy is getting a % of a players contract that they're also discussing where to invest the proceeds of the contract they just helped negotiate.

Are you serious???? You think Ryder was the only player given those drugs? How the hell is that relevant to the conversation. Here's a tip, not all families are as supportive as the McLeods are. This is the exact reason that an Aboriginal PA of some description can be really helpful to those players who don't have a McLeod type family. Any other points of mine that you want to argue for me.

How do we get rid of this nutjob?

Hence I have respect for Zaharkis who used his own brain to say no.

Just had a look and it looks like Gibbs gamble has been posting consistently over a month.

Therefore I take back what I said.

Rucci must be taking the time to post in Italy.

Yeah I assumed AFL player mangers are more than agents.

When you look it up they are technically referred to as agents.

However if an AFL player is not in touch with wealth management professionals they are stupid. Hopefully that kind of advice is given to them as part of the education they receive when first drafted and through their careers.

It is also probably wise that such services are probabaly sourced independently of clubs as well.

"Access to" pretty much states that they're not performing the services themselves. They'd be handing over the player to another provider for a commission on that provider's earnings.

Absolutely. He's a player manager not a financial planner.

He stayed at the club. He's like the one kid who was to scared to go in and steal lollies from the corner shop with his mates. But made sure he ate his share when they all got back to the park.

At Port Adelaide, Michael Voss has moved into Nicks' vacated senior assistant post as 2004 premiership players Jarrad Schofield (midfield) and Brett Montgomery (defence) return.
Montgomery, who had two years out of the AFL system after a relationship breakdown with Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge, has stood out with his diligence and level of detail.

Anyone remember hearing what the Montgomery/Beveridge dispute was about?
