Yes I can understand it being confusing.

One says discuss, one says dont discuss right there in the title.
Only confusing when posts are moved which reference a particular thread with a relative reference not an absolute one.

For the review to be effective it should already be happening.

No point having found we need to change key staff when every other club has already contracted their coaching panels and other football department staff.

That's why they delayed it as long as possible. Now they have the we were still a chance until the final round excuse

She's the token female member so Chappy and his mates can say, "hey, look how progressive our board is having a female on it"
You ****ing idiot.

We have other female members on the board - and Ellis would be one of the most nationally connected people in Adelaide.

Take your dumb mouth breather opinions elsewhere.

What a crock of shit. Wrong in every possible way.

What did Kate Ellis do before politics? And since?
Finished politics this year. Then had another baby. Was a research officer before joining parliament at 27.

Surely the drums are beating too loud for this to be anything but the end of a few off-field spuds at AFC?

For Barrett to go with this as a headline on AFL website ...

BARRETT: Massive change looms for 'flat, dispirited' Crows

NOW, THE walkouts start at Adelaide.

Josh Jenkins, Brad Crouch, Sam Jacobs, Alex Keath, Hugh Greenwood, even Eddie Betts and probably many more will now be able to properly analyse where best their football futures lie.

Losing their final three games of the season was reflective of the Crows' standing, and officials are now belatedly prepared to acknowledge what the entire AFL industry has known since early 2018 – there are massive morale issues.

Director Mark Ricciuto, in his role on Triple M radio, said on Sunday after the loss to the Bulldogs:
"It was just another poor performance, wasn't it, really. And it wasn't surprising, either, to be honest because they just seem like they've been flat and dispirited for a while."

Massive changes to come, here.

How shortsighted would you have to be to wait until the completion of the minor round though. Surely they must have seen the 2 things that we all saw;

1. 2 pretty good minor round years and a couple of good finals in 2016 & 2017
2. A complete fall off the cliff despite fielding largely the same team whilst not investing anything significant in youth.

You don't need to know whether you've scraped into the 8 to realise that something is wrong.

I'm quite sure they have known the desire of memebrs for an external review for plenty of time, but by delaying the review as long as possible it opens up a whole range of excuses.

"We didn't know until the last minute"

"The way things panned out so unexpectedly, unfortunately we just didn't have time to organise replacements for underperforming staff"

"By the time we were in the market for staff, all the best staff had been locked away by other clubs"

"No point making change for the sake of change if you can't secure the best people"

"That's the way things are in this industry, sometimes time is against you"
