Yep whilst I didn’t buy the Pyke sacked story, surely the club has to have a press conference announcing the review and providing some details.
Unless we don’t want the media there and will just ask ourselves the tough questions

He won't be sacked. The club won't be reactionary, they will take a calm measured approach and tweak a few things. At the end of 2020 if we miss finals, then things will heat up.
I'm all for giving coaches time, I don't like turning over coaches every 2 or 3 years, but Pyke seems to just be on a downward spiral. This is the worst brand of footy I have ever seen us play. Pyke, Campo and Hart should be gone but won't be.

I would be happy for at least just Campo and Hart and get in two good assistants.

They won't sack the coach on Mad Monday. Can't have the players sad for their end-of-season celebrations!
Yeah, but on the other hand, how does that make the club appealing when we're trying to hire a new coach? I don't know if the new coach wants to step into the role if the previous coach is still there looking over his shoulder. Does that coach actually report to the fooball manager? Or direct to the board? Either way, it would be putting the new coach in a pretty awkward spot.

From all reports it would only give them more reason to celebrate.
I accept your point Jars but if it can work I think Pyke has some good qualities, can run a successful business and has football IQ but point taken

Good for Talia. Has been a soldier. Under siege all season but rarely lowered his colours personally.
Would consider for trade bait?
Other than cringing every time he has to kick the ball he's been an excellent defender. Personally I'd build our defense around him as our sole KPD with a bunch of utility types like Doedee, Butts, Keath.
Everyone should be trade bait unless their name is Sloane or crouch.
Nope - Pyke has too much baggage with these players / coaches. New blood please.
A lot of those players are moving on

No. Would just create another problem. His prime trade value would have been 2-3 years ago too if we were going to go that way.
We supposedly have enough others on the table to give us trade capital for whatever we plan to do
Still no good. It would be like having an ex turning up at your door every morning after the breakdown of the relationship.
