Caro said tonight the leadership group went to management at the end of 2018 with a list of complaints where most of them weren't actioned.

Some of the players then went and complained about some of the things that were changed, so maybe they're just hard to please.
I don't know what to make of Caro sometimes.

She has stated that the players were instrumental in the decision to sack Sanderson, yet the ongoing dialogue I've heard is that when Sanderson was left without Bailey he struggled with tactics. Ultimately Ruccuito decided rather than employing someone else to hold Sanderson's hand, why not just get a coach who was capable of doing it himself?

Age and game style is relevant here....Cox>>Jenkins

Don't be silly. Cox can't get a game - averages half a goal and less than four kicks a game.

Jenkins might cop shit, but he's actually delivered results. A few times this year, he's kicked more goals in a game than Brennan Cox did all season.

Sandersons downfall is getting eerily familiar to Pyke's. Everything is great while the wins are coming, but once the L's hit and the coach turns up the heat on the players they get put offside very quickly. Sandos problem was he wanted to be mates, rip into a player and then be mates again, Pyke has never pretended to be anything other than their boss, but some don't like being held to account that the level Pyke puts on them. I get the constant negative feedback can be tiring, but I'm sure it's also given for good reason.

The players would have some legitimate complaints of course, but the football department can't be the only one held to account for the last two years, the players need to take their responsibility too.

She is not a suitable candidate.

Get a ******* professional Chair who has been involved in a football Club for an extended period of time, even if it is SANFL.

I could name 2 people right now who would be brilliant candidates - successful business people, extensive board experience and passionate about the AFC.

Name them.

That’s why we need a fresh start, coaches and players with a clear message if you’re a whinger you can leave now.

To change track, I think the only player rumour I'm not a fan off so far is Matt Crouch, as he gives a good building block to base a midfield around. Rest I'm very ok with moving them on so far.

Would love to see Lynch go as well (or Tex, but I'll assume he'll be impossible to move on this off-season) to really open up that forward line and get the Fogarty, and Himmelberg 22 games a piece. Both have shown enough that they need proper investment, and now is the best time for it.

And thats why, if anything, an external review is good. If an expert outside the club backs up something you dont agree with then some groups might shake hands and get on with it or go different ways.

It should clear the air and get everyone on the same page.

Maybe to you, but others also thought there was a connection.
Maybe I just misunderstood but that’s not even the point at this stage.
It’s a discussion forum, and I asked a simple follow up question. Do you think his tantrum was necessary?
Tantrum? He clearly tried to exit and you pushed until he lost his sh..t. Fair enough
