Sure, using hindsight shows we would have got more in a trade but looking back at here we were this time last year, Jack Steven was worth more to the club than anyone and trading him would have put the place into a meltdown with fans already on the edge of deserting the club.

I agree with that. It wasn't meant to be a swipe a Cho, rather just a point of view I'd not considered before because it's not like Lethers isn't working to a plan.
If it was hatched post season last year then resetting the list was already a goer and was Stuv even part of it??

No way. With the amount of new quality personell to introduce already next year, a DFA isn't worth a pinch of s*** to us unless its a Robbo/Members type.
The war chest will be back for 2020. Bookmark it.

Good luck to Paddy. I still hold hope he can pull on the boots again if it's in his best interests.

I only feel uneasy with these things from the AFL like if he wanted to come back somehow we'd get screwed.

Hopefully with any return whether at the end of the year or further on we get first crack

There is a new combine test they're introducing next year to whack each player with a wooden block, induce concussion and measure recovery time and head hardness...

If you can't get back to footy two years after your last knock then you're never coming back. The focus should be life after footy.

That's not why he's being delisted though.

There's actually studies being conducted into the way diabetes effects concussion symptoms and whether or not it makes someone more prone to low force concussions so it actually may indirectly be why he's being delisted.
