I get you're over the negative but unfortunately it's all hype for us and Carlton until there is a rise in performance. If we were a racehorse we would be crazy to back us on past form. I think the new guys might make a psychological boost and we should be up beat but there is enough poor past form for people to be weary of excessive hope as well.
Until it translates into results it's hype. Last year was the definition of hype after 5 rounds.Yeah it’s not hype , felt it early in the year too .
I know a few connections at the club , it’s a different vibe completely than I have ever experienced.
We are organised operating to a plan , don’t think it included the injury toll or setbacks to be expected
in preseason ...never been able to compete with the big boys for training facilities, we can now.
Making solid inroads in the business community bayside , China game is important vehicle for it too.
Funny you mentioned Carlton have had the opportunity to going thru their facilities at Ikon park
Stkilda’s leaves it for dead , doesn’t mean anything if we don’t have the right people , confident we
are getting there too , Rath & Roughead are magnificent aquazitions.
Heard Ratts say about Rath was the “ Bradman “ with his knowledge of the game , particularly tactically.
Been really good year for Sponsorship, technical expertise as well , recruiting been tightened up with Lethlean
and the Banker steering the ship ...we aren’t there yet with playing personnel, but the new ones are
really strategic..to the ground we play on regularly.
Will it result in the ultimate prize who knows certainly a lot more confident in the direction of the club these days.

That's funny - but I actually feel sorry for you.Until it translates into results it's hype. Last year was the definition of hype after 5 rounds.
Who told you? I would doubt it very muchHarley Bennell will be a Saint next year I've been told. Risky move if true.

There is definitely a better more professional vibe to the club because of the facilities and the staff are getting better. Just need to nail the on field more than anything else. We seem to have done a lot of one out one in and won't have much access to drafts for 2 years during a clean out/ rehash. Not ideal but hopefully they know what they are doing.
Someone really has to tap Paddy on the shoulder and say it's over.
If you can't get back to footy two years after your last knock then you're never coming back. The focus should be life after footy.
I literally didn't say I wasn't excited. But if you think it was anything other than hype after the first 5 weeks you're kidding yourself. That's funny - but I actually feel sorry for you.
If you reckon can't get excited and hyped when you sitting 2nd after 5 rounds despite having Carlisle, Geary, Hannebery, McCartin, Roberton and Steven on the injury list, it must be very depressing for you to even go to the footy!!!
Howard on $500kSo. Acres and Newnes at about $500k each. Stuv at $750 ish
Paddy at what? 400k?
Juicy was $500+?
And Snake will be ooc next year.
Gags is clearing the books for next year. Someone who will want a lot of money.....
Even though I invented the nickname Cho, I’m really disappointed I didn’t chose Choix.
Have you read the article. He is only 22.One word, NO
Although I do rate his skills. If we were to do a risky move like that, I’d rather do it on Bennell.
It’s only risky because of ability. I can’t see other risks. I’m a no though. One word, NO

Sorry fam, I’m retired.Nothing like a one sided conversation.
More importantly: What’s your starting team for R1 2020 B?
No because I don’t pay for the Herald Sun. But I agree that Murray fits our age profile. Bennell will be 27 for the whole of next year. Wow does time fly. But I would stay away from Murray.Have you read the article. He is only 22.
Haha retired from what exactly?Sorry fam, I’m retired.
It’s risky because he had some coke. But Bennell did as well. I’d rate Bennell higher in terms of ability. It’s only risky because of ability. I can’t see other risks. I’m a no though.
