Wouldn't happen so fast any other year, but with VIC kids out for the most of the year and his improvement being that much better than anyone elses it makes sense
Nah not exactly, McDonald isn’t just playing well playing senior football he is one of the best key forwards in that comp already and having big say on results.

yeah but what's his rating out of 3?

McAdam will be 26 next year. Not sure he is the long term solution to be honest.

Fogarty, McDonald, Stengle, Newchurch, Himmelburg, McHenry is a good starting group.
Not sold on McHenry. Himmelberg has shown some really good signs recently but needs to get stronger and increase his speed if possible. Fogarty needs to improve his output to have a long term career with us. Strengle looks like he has it. Just needs games. Newchurch has loads of potential if he wants it. Feel we should make a play for Rankine in 2 years when our salary cap is much healthier.

2nd on the goal kicking list with 1 less game than the leader.

So Nicks says Brouch wants to stay.

Danger says he would like Brouch at the Cats, as would any club as he is a gun.

So is it a case of we can get #2 compo we let him go, but otherwise we keep him?

Considering we have shown no ability to develop key forwards for a long time, form in the WAFL should count for a lot. 4 games isn’t much though.

But he was a gun in the colts too.
How do you rate the Victorian boys or SA boys who haven't played league footy?
Only on what I see .....I won't comment on anyone otherwise .....the U17 All-Star game gave a pretty good overview, not of form, but player traits

He’s clearly very talented and a bolter for pick 1, but is he right for us.

Is he a flight risk?

I think flight risk is the biggest load of garb for drafting players.
Take the best player and give him the best environment to become a great player.

Imo he is atm the best player outside of Hagan.

If we don't take him we will regret it

One off game is very small sample.
Who is your top 5 atm?
I haven't taken too much interest, obviously Thilthorpe and Hollands ......really love Hollands as a player type we need

Like very much Grainger Barrass, or whatever his name is .......but I'm not a fan of a tall at #1, unless it was so clearcut like Nic-Nat

Look at how Jack Watts turned out.......was a clear cut top 3 player, but failed

So regarding risk factor ......take the risk on the tall or the ACL player ?????

Will Phillips is a no from me ......not what we need in the midfield at all

Not taking a player due to flight risk only perpetuates not dealing with the poor culture that causes ppl to be worried about players leaving. The players are not the issue, the club is.

And how can you tell anyhow? Talk was king, Luko and rankine were massive flight risk and they luv it up there now.
There's been many examples of players who seemed huge flight risks who end up staying like dmac, and others who seemed likely to be ok and leave quickly gunston.

Fair call. We just seem to have a poor history in that regard.

With Kennedy retiring soon, seems a monty WCE will throw the sink at him

So apparently the excuse for fogarty being dropped is he's unfit and not up to the standard.

Im sure walker only putting one arm up in marking contests for the last 2 years is up to standard.

Complete flipping bullshit coming outta the crows at the moment. More like they dont wanna upset tex. Bunch of soft c@nts.

Yep philips is handball, handball, handball. So flipping over those types of players.

Im taking rankine before luko. Rankine will be better than eddie betts. Calling it now.

yes he will ! But until we get ranking in few years

pick 1 Holland’s but a fair margin even with acl
pick 2 tilthorpe McDonald. Prefer McDonald personally
gws pick tanner Bruhn. If he get over injury could be best mid in draft
pick 20 Eddie ford for bit more x factor
wb 2nd rounder 27 at moment poulter or Tom power
rest bids for newchurch Edwards borlase

any disagreement
