Or they continue to find reasons for not believing
It's a public forum man, and that's their opinion. Just have to roll with it.
I hope the Tigs value Higgins that way, be much better for us I feel.
Got my fingers and toes crossed he finds his way here this year.

The trade with Geelong for picks 15 and 16 just got harder folks.

Unfortunately those picks have come in. They've now got 11, 13 and potentially 14.
They want #7 as much, if not more than we want to split. Geelong local Oliver Henry a mooted x-factor utility/forward. His brother already in their best 22. Will not get to 11. Just means pick swaps in later rounds to accommodate.
Edit: May give us a chance of picking up a key defender Cox/Reid or x-factor fwd/mid Archie Perkins.

Fair enough. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

I'm sure they would love to recruit some of the Geelong Falcons in this years draft, but when push comes to shove, they may prefer another bite of the cherry.

1. Cox
2. Reid
3. Perkins

IMHO, Higgins is a first rounder

People have short memories, forgetting his output prior to his medical issues

With his medical issues, the question is can he get back to what he was?

That's a huge question and knocks his value down for mine. It's just a huge unknown. Without the concerns, had he been able to continue at that level, I agree that he holds his draft value.

Kn'oath... Two 3rd rounders ... Higgins isn't worth first round draft pick exchange and Richmond drafted Stack as a rookie.... Two third rounders equates to a few draft points. No-one is picking up stack for a second rounder and Richmond will need to get rid of a few players for 2021. Richmonds list is 'stacked' and higgins will get good game time at Carlton... I'd even give Richmond Dow and a 3rd round pick for higgins and stack.
Clearly you have been having a good night

Jack Higgins for a 3rd rounder , I wouldnt give him up for what we drafted him at which is pick #17 in a good draft and in this draft NO CHANCE
I would also be extremely disappointed if Stack is traded , Kid has Elite talent and you dont go throwing that away for 1 silly covid breach. They didnt get caught in a cab with coke

100% NOT worth a first round pick, but he would fit into our team well... Stack with an improvement in his professionalism would also fit into our team. My original point was that having higgins and stack in our team would be of greater benefit than McGovern and/or JSOS. Just in terms of impact. Mcgovern played a majority of games this season and had ZERO impact and we played most of the season without JSOS. Does JSOS make us a better team? NO he doesn't
Can you please give a valuation (your opinion) on a couple of Carlton players
SPS , Dow , LOB , Cunnigham

Like many, I worry we’ll overpay for Saad. If it comes off the team looks balanced and IMO clearly top 8 strength:

Plowman Weiters Docherty

Saad Jones Marchbank

Walsh Cripps Williamson

Gov Harry Martin

Gibbons Charlie Fisher

TDK Setterfield Williams

Ed, Cuningham, Casboult, Dow, Philp, Newman, Honey, JSOS, Stocker, Kemp, Pittonet, Newnes, Owies, LOB

Adding Higgins to replace Gibbons as a true small forward would be huge. Happy to give a first round pick for him. The 2021 additions of Charlie Curnow, Marchbank, Williams, Saad and Higgins would be enormous.

SPS: Unfortunate to be played out of position this year. He is alright off the HBF but lacked some hardness when the opposition player took him to the back pocket. I think long term he'll have benefited with the experience of playing in defence. Doubt we will see him as a defender next season.

DOW: Difficult to assess as he was injured this season and only played 3 games. Needs a clear run at it. Saying that, he hasn't lived up to the hype and I'd trade Dow for any one of Stack, J Higgins, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith or RCD from Richmond in a heartbeat.

LOB: Bust! should never have drafted him @ pick 10 - Should have stuck to cricket.

Cunningham: Displays all the attributes, but always gets injured. Hard to play him, gibbons, fisher in the same team.

The tigers are gonna have to release some players this season. Whose it gonna be? Your list is 'stacked'! Is Rance playing next year? Hows your salary cap? Why would player stay at Richmond if they can't get a game? J. Higgins isn't in your best 22, Caddy isn't in your best 22. Hence why they weren't selected on Friday evening.

100% Stack is a gun I had him rated as a first rounder in the draft. Absolutely gutted SOS picked BSOS before Stack. It was clear as day Stack was a top talent. All credit to Richmond but Stack would flourish at Carlton.

And that would be a good thing for the club.

We need all available fully fit players to be challenging for spots. We showed some great signs in 2020, sure we got ran over in quarters but we stuck at it and weren't run over in games like in the past.

I understood SOS stood aside and did not pick his sons. The club picked them. Perhaps someone knows.

Was the off field stuff that was a question mark and we had a very strong no dickheads policy.
