Hawkins & Cameron are going to kick 20 between them.

Eh, we're a bottom four side.

The kids can learn against either Hawkins or Cameron. They won't if they're not exposed to it.

So do we trade Matt now or accept band 3 again next year?

Considering Matt had a rough season (had a very poor start but came good after the half way mark), and we're going to need him big time in 2020 (he is the only midfielder we have who has been through more than 1 campaign in the midfield and isn't falling off a cliff ability wise), you hold onto Matt.

Really, we probably won't have a window with Matt where its better to trade than keep. Not unless he falls off dramatically, form wise.

We have been linked to Oscar McDonald.
Hope this is a really inaccurate rumour!

Oscar McDonald has taken the term "brain fades" to a whole new level
He’d be a great get and if brain fades are a quality then he replaces Tex with ease, no?

Did anyone actually watch Will Brodie play this year? I’m trying to think about the last time I saw him play. Think it might have been 2019 and I thought he went alright.

Remember thinking he looked huge standing next to Matty Crouch. Have no idea how he went this year

I'll simply say this .....Oscar McDonald is NOT an AFL footballer ...and I've said this for 3 years, MELB finally agreed by delisting him .....he simply never improved, which is what MELB were waiting for

Might be more inclined To agree with the other 14 yrs you been on here.

The guy on that Hawks interview was intimating that we have the inside running because, well he didn’t want to say collusion, but he said collusion.
Big deal, if the AFL step in here it would be well out of line.

just putting it out there that I think it is almost a lock we will be taking Thilthorpe at pick 1..the reason is that with Hately coming in and assuming we hold pick 9 and get pick 14 from the dogs and still have pick 22 or 23 and that is almost certain to net 3 more midfielders and next year has a number of highly rated mids so we will be very well stocked with younger up and coming mids. a top rated tall therefore seems a no brainer at 1

Then why not McDonald? If we wanted Tillthorpe we could trade back and get him.
