Considering Matt had a rough season (had a very poor start but came good after the half way mark), and we're going to need him big time in 2020 (he is the only midfielder we have who has been through more than 1 campaign in the midfield and isn't falling off a cliff ability wise), you hold onto Matt.

Really, we probably won't have a window with Matt where its better to trade than keep. Not unless he falls off dramatically, form wise.

play this year? I’m trying to think about the last time I saw him play. Think it might have been 2019 and I thought he went alright.

just putting it out there that I think it is almost a lock we will be taking Thilthorpe at pick 1..the reason is that with Hately coming in and assuming we hold pick 9 and get pick 14 from the dogs and still have pick 22 or 23 and that is almost certain to net 3 more midfielders and next year has a number of highly rated mids so we will be very well stocked with younger up and coming mids. a top rated tall therefore seems a no brainer at 1

That was known and already allocated. It's only players leaving that had been factored as staying that create genuine space.
