Back to where ?? He's not getting past 5Then why not McDonald? If we wanted Tillthorpe we could trade back and get him.

Sydney, Hawthorn or GC would all trade up to 1, and I’d be shocked if he wasn’t still there at any of those spots. Especially if the OP rumors are true.Back to where ?? He's not getting past 5
You’d be happy for us to pay $900k a year for Cameron for the next five years?... $900k a year?.. say it out aloud.Hately for 40
Cameron in PSD if Geelong get stubborn

I personally like Thilthorpe more but being an SA lad on a same talent level would typically mean we take the local lad and they are at a very comparable talent levelThen why not McDonald? If we wanted Tillthorpe we could trade back and get him.
FTFYBack to where ?? He's not getting past 3
He would vigorously deny that. And than throw his sock on the ceilingThe guy on that Hawks interview was intimating that we have the inside running because, well he didn’t want to say collusion, but he said collusion.
Big deal, if the AFL step in here it would be well out of line.
That's what I saidYou’d be happy for us to pay $900k a year for Cameron for the next five years?... $900k a year?.. say it out aloud.
My thoughts... That would be the most utterly ridiculous thing for a rebuilding club to spend nearly a million a year in cap space on.. 28 at the start of the season (april) next year. Would he even still be there of our next flag tilt?..
Would be an epic fu** up and would cost us massively.
Would rather throw $900k a year at Luko or rankine.. and theres no way id do that at this point either!..
McDonald‘s year was awesome and has clearly moved way ahead of Tillthorpe at this stage. I don’t know who has the higher ceiling, but I don’t think I’ve seen one person rate Tillthorpe ahead of MacDonald, and you keep hearing terms like “generational talent” about MacDonald while nothing like that about Tillthorpe.I personally like Thilthorpe more but being an SA lad on a same talent level would typically mean we take the local lad and they are at a very comparable talent level
No way on earth he is still there at pick 5 imo
There wouldn't be many teams who could do that. Not if someone offers more points in the same amount of picks.
You've heard it from Rendell, no one else has used it other than to quote him.McDonald‘s year was awesome and has clearly moved way ahead of Tillthorpe at this stage. I don’t know who has the higher ceiling, but I don’t think I’ve seen one person rate Tillthorpe ahead of MacDonald, and you keep hearing terms like “generational talent” about MacDonald while nothing like that about Tillthorpe.
fact is that if he wasn’t from SA there wouldn’t be anyone here wanting Tillthorpe at 1, and there is not one of the other 17 clubs who would take him if they had pick 1.
They aren't.Sydney, Hawthorn or GC would all trade up to 1, and I’d be shocked if he wasn’t still there at any of those spots. Especially if the OP rumors are true.
yep...I personally like Thilthorpe more but being an SA lad on a same talent level would typically mean we take the local lad and they are at a very comparable talent level

Yep exactly. Get him in and get the job done development wise and cultural vision. Then why not McDonald? If we wanted Tillthorpe we could trade back and get him.
It was their FA system too. Where there is a way, they will screw us.Not sure they can on this one, it's their own points system we are using against them.
I personally disagree as I have seen Thilthorpe play live a few times and he has real talent. But you have to look at how West Adelaide went this year - they were poor and it made it pretty hard to compete and dominate in that forward line and he also went into ruck. I am not saying McDonald is not highly talented but maybe he was able to show his wares in a far better side with much better supply to him..McDonald‘s year was awesome and has clearly moved way ahead of Tillthorpe at this stage. I don’t know who has the higher ceiling, but I don’t think I’ve seen one person rate Tillthorpe ahead of MacDonald, and you keep hearing terms like “generational talent” about MacDonald while nothing like that about Tillthorpe.

Take one player out of our forward line 22. Nah I’m just going to say Tex. who fits better? That’s the only answer there and people that say Thilthorpe are in denial, it’s McDonald.McDonald‘s year was awesome and has clearly moved way ahead of Tillthorpe at this stage. Fair enough that you prefer Riley, but I'd personally be a bit miffed if we didn't take McDonald over Thilthorpe, especially considering we already have our KPF/ruck of the future in Himmelbergjust putting it out there that I think it is almost a lock we will be taking Thilthorpe at pick 1..the reason is that with Hately coming in and assuming we hold pick 9 and get pick 14 from the dogs and still have pick 22 or 23 and that is almost certain to net 3 more midfielders and next year has a number of highly rated mids so we will be very well stocked with younger up and coming mids. a top rated tall therefore seems a no brainer at 1
Simple, Thilthorpe will take Berg's place.Take one player out of our forward line 22. Nah I’m just going to say Tex. who fits better? That’s the only answer there and people that say Thilthorpe are in denial, it’s McDonald.
Thilthorpe has muuuuuuuuuch more talent than Berg.Fair enough that you prefer Riley, but I'd personally be a bit miffed if we didn't take McDonald over Thilthorpe, especially considering we already have our KPF/ruck of the future in Himmelberg
Yeah fine, but I rate McDonald and Hollands over Thilthorpe.Simple, Thilthorpe will take Berg's place.
That’s obviously the other fact. By the end of the year Himmelberg looked our most promising forward, and he is very similar to Tillthorpe. If Fog had looked better we could trade Himmo and build around him and Tillthorpe, but the way it looked we would end up with a great ruckman and two great ruck forwards And nothing else.Take one player out of our forward line 22. Nah I’m just going to say Tex. who fits better? That’s the only answer there and people that say Thilthorpe are in denial, it’s McDonald.
Yeah that's fair enough.Yeah fine, but I rate McDonald and Hollands over Thilthorpe.
madness... total and utter madness.. thinking we should spend $900k on a lad that is pointless having in a rebuild and doesn’t even want to play for us!.That's what I said
Luko and Rankine?
Forget them
Over rated and not coming anyway but you keep thinking small
