What poll tightening, and why would it be her fault?

You're a big boy. I told you which poll. Do some reading.

And it has to do with Harris as it was taken after her selection. However the timeframe also included Biden saying African-Americans weren't diverse and if you don't vote for Biden you're not black, so those could also be factors.

.
She doesn't care me at all. She is an awful choice.

Most of the CNN poll tightening was due to a 21 point flip amongst non-whites. They do not like her.

Would you please indulge an old guy and show me where you came to that conclusion in the poll? My maths has never been too good.

In June, people of colour and black support for Biden was 66% and 88% respectively

For Trump, it was 26% and 8% respectively.

In August, they only have non white as an option.

For Biden it is 63% and Trump now 31%.

That's a fair move against Biden.

That's what I thought that you meant. It's a bit hard to compare the two polls since they really aren't equivalent to come up with the notion that Harris is the reason for blacks moving away from Biden. Blacks make up roughly only 13.4% of the population whereas "people of color" would be approximately 25%(Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans). And why would the poll lump blacks and people of color together in one poll and not in the other one? Seems strange. There's no way that Trump could win any where near 31% of black votes after winning only 8% in 2016. Trump did win 29% of the Hispanic vote so by lumping them in with the black vote probably skewered the result. I wonder what the next poll will say.

The Hill/Harris poll of today has Trump at 11% of Black votes and Biden at 68%(with 10% of Black vote not voting - interesting indeed); Trump 27% of Hispanic votes to Biden 52%. Those results seem more realiastic.

I still have no idea what that has to do with AOC, and I can find no CNN poll that would have her as a factor.

It doesn't. I was never talking about AOC.

I'm afraid you were, it was the comment I replied to.

Apologies just assumed it was a Harris post you replied to.

And AOC doesn't scare me. Might scare the DNC which is why she only was given a minute to speak.

The more AOC speaks the better it is for the Right so happy for her to keep prattling away.

Her segment last night was no exception.

That's what I thought until I read this:

Trying to keep up with the news and all of the political and legal dealings seem especially difficult nowadays.

Sure, The president and VP are not covered under the Hatch Act, but are you saying there will be no other campaigning by other people during the event? If it’s simply those two giving acceptance speeches, sure, go ahead. Somehow I think there will be more to it (presumably it will be like any other Trump speech - ie political campaigning and rallying.

The entire Mary Trump book is just one massive melt about Fred Trump cutting her out of the inheritance. I expected better from a doctor

Yes, fancy only getting one minute to speak, I mean they usually give first term congresswomen hours, don't they?

Ok I get it. You're easily impressed by SJW word salads.

Is this a Twitter or Reddit term I'm supposed to know.

8D chess is twice as hard as 4D chess, which according to trumpians he has been playing with the world for the past 5 years

So I guessed right.

Yes, she got where she is by 'SJW word salads'. Got her self elected to the US House of Representatives, and got herself a speaking part on the DNC National Convention by reciting a few empty words of the sort that get RWNJs all riled up. You've sure got her number.

Yep she sure worked for it.

Be careful Chappy.Remember when the DNC scheduled a black, skinny kid from Illinois who had not even been elected to the Senate giving him a prime speaking slot in 2004.

I am no fan of AOC, but a concession had to be given to that wing of the party. Having her second the nomination of Sanders seemed a tactical way of dealing with it.

That's going to be the hard part for the Republicans. I guess that's what they have lawyers for, being able to skirt the law legally.

its manageable unless they are stupid.

if they did it on the south lawn (for example), they just need to make sure all people prepping the area, running the show, and supporting the president and his team are 100% campaign only.

Yes. I did mention having it outdoors and the South Lawn might be OK. That actually might work and with the OK for fireworks add to the event. I wonder if there are restrictions as to outdoor gatherings in DC. Even so, would Trump even follow that? There would have to be a plan in case of rain. Just so many things this little flu thing has screwed up.
