Yeah, I’m slightly nervous they’ll keep losing & we jag a win or two in the back half of the season when we start getting a few mature players back.

Think we can bank the fact they win 1 more. Clarko won’t be able to sleep with a 2 Win season on his CV. This week and then Freo in Tassie would be pretty handy.

In positive news, Phoenix shared that video of Horne so they’re obviously mates.

Nah they will win a couple more, won’t exceed 6 for the year though

People want the best u18 year old in the country after a 1-10 start*

It guarantees nothing. It's grade A supercoach stuff.

They don't make North supporters like they used to.

Don't think we have the fit senior players for that too happen.

Neither, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to discuss it. I find this whole criticism of people that analyse ladder position and the importance of draft picks as bizarre tbh. Nobody here wants us to stink and be favourite for the spoon, but if the difference is 1 win, and based on what I’ve seen of this draft group, id rather Horne then Roberts.

Fair enough. I'd rather see it as a bonus if we stink it up, not a lost prize if we do better than expected.

I guess it comes down to how you define better then expected.

Winning only 2 more games for the year and miss out on pick 1 (& Pick 2 for the matter due to Daicos)... it’s not a great result in terms of gain for pain imo.

Intangibles I guess. If it happens and the player we get is miles behind the pick one I'll tip my hat. Plenty of time to play out in either case.

Most would agree (I certainly do), it’s more if the development doesn’t spike and we win 2+ more off the back of senior players resulting in us missing Horne.

If we come home with a wet sail on the back of Thomas and LDU, the great. If we snag a few wins against fellow cellar dwellers by employing 4 tags and a negative game style that’d be ****ing stupid. I doubt the blokes in charge are that dumb.
