In hindsight I would have been happy with taking 2-3 of Essendon's firsts for our pick 2 but otherwise its a pretty interesting conundrum.
Unless there's a clear standout player at pick 1-3 then sometimes getting 2 inside the top 10 is worth it as the first few are usually hype players and real talent falls to a lower pick.

TBH I'm happy with phillips but wouldn't complain if we had cox, perkins and tom powell in the first round.

I think it's been made pretty clear that we are working on our long term game style and we don't deviate from that plan.

If we start winning because the long term game style is working, this is great.
