Wouldn't surprise if they said all those who got tickets this time go to priority 2 for semi or prelim to let those go who missed out.
I think they did that for a couple of the h&a games last year when crowds were very restricted. Personally, I don’t mind if they do that now either. There are plenty of supporters, just as deserving as me, who have missed out this week who are entitled to a shot at a ticket for the next game.

To everyone that got tickets make a absolute racquet and bring the boys home, as no doubt you all will. Stoked for those fortunate enough to get tickets.

Unfortunately myself, my partner and others that go missed out, I'm not to disappointed by that fact, I'd resigned myself to not going when Marshall made his ridiculous announcement on the radio then he & Spurrier have not been sighted or heard from all day since (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that fact).

But what is a absolute travesty is how the AFL treats all of our members the same, and basically thumbed their nose at the clubs membership groups and what they mean. The AFL don't give two shits about us at all, they're only in it for the corporates. Ticketek are a complete joke, their website never stood a chance with so many people trying to get tickets at once.

As for the 15,000 cap on the crowd, that defies logic and the silence on the matter is deafening for me.

The whole charade leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, but cheer loud those who are fortunate enough to go, and hopefully the boys gets a win regardless of the size of the crowd.

I wouldn’t mind the 15k cap and the refusal to host the GF if I wasn’t absolutely certain things would be different if the Crows were in our position.

Although I know the crows ties to the Libs, Marshall is a port supporter, I think Stevens is too and Spurrier is a d***head with no sport knowledge so

I really don’t get the imagine being in NSW or Victoria argument. We are in a completely different situation here in SA due to our compliance and hard work. People have a right to be mad. When times are good and the state is covid free, reward the people.
I can't see the difference between allowing 15k but not say 25k to 30k.

They've pandered to the people who rage that football is 'exempt from the rules' who believe games should simply be cancelled when borders are shut. Seemingly oblivious that the AFL has worked very hard to continue during the indefinite pandemic. The same people who haven't had to adjust at all and aren't affected by covid, since they don't do much anyway and have a safe job or are retired. You know the type. Marshall must be pretty sure that is where all his votes come from.

That’s irrelevant, the business groups and old boys network etc would make it happen.
Spurrier doesn’t make decisions, she provides advice.

Those raging against footy are usually Crows fans who do it because they know it won’t effect them.

No deal. Otherwise would have passed on tickets this week in the hope of getting one for a prelim. Feel for those who have missed out but that approach would be just as unfair.

Anyone still voting for Marshall in the next election?

Nope? Didn’t think so.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Trouble is, is the alternative any better?

How many tickets out of 15k were we allocated. I honestly didn’t think I would have any trouble scoring at least 1 ticket with 4 platinum memberships. I’m still in a state of shock, I tried logging on well before 2pm too.

Wtf just happened?

There is more guarantee that the corporate freeloaders will get in before any deserving footy fans, especially with capped capacities.

Covid risk grading can change pretty quick so no guarantees for anyone atm.

All hearsay where they'll play the granny but would be interesting to see how many east coast corporates will give up/ lose their gf corporate privileges subject to who gets to host it. Some would have office in WA, SA, Tas and Qld but not all. Would be interesting to see what they do with their allocations.

Of the final sides left, I can't see too many fans getting over to WA with current quarantine restrictions so all members in the same boat. Granny would have to be here, Tasmania or Queensland to accommodate most states.

Obviously we're still pretty lucky as NSW and Vic fans will be lucky to get to the corner milk bar without being rugby tackled.

I don't believe Marshall would consider more fans this week but hopefully no new cases this week and the next final rounds should increase in crowds week on week.
If there's 1 case tied to a game this week like there was at the MCG last month then I'd imagine we'd be completely out of the running for the rest of the season.

Whatever the situation, as long as Ports bring the best and make the most of their chances I'll be a happy man.

Interesting that many of the Cliquers are raging that their higher paid membership privileges aren't being honoured.
How so? Blue collar working class club should treat all their fans as equals?

Personally I'd have no issue with a lower tier membership with more years of continual membership having rights over me. But that's just me.

I can't remember how it worked but wasn't it a non refundable $10 paid to guarantee a final tickets during 2001-2004

Plenty of tickets left for Melb Vs Lions
I just heard on the ABC news that Melbourne v Brisbane was also a sell out.

Marshall also said that the crowd size could be increased later in the week. What a cluster puck that would be.
