I do get the irony .

However this isn’t really a case of affordability here it’s about a commitment to the club that hasn’t been returned thanks to the AFL not giving a shit and allowing bandwagoners similar chances for tickets.

The fact we’ve gone down the route of everyone gets equal rights to finals tickets and you are literally relying on ticketek luck to get a ticket is just going to entice people not to pay a premium for those privileges. Potentially costing the club money.

I know I’m personally questioning the value of my memberships.

One of the main reasons I pay a premium is for gf access and we all know that is a pipe dream. And when you can’t even get a home QF ticket, what’s the point.

My 5 season tickets are front row of 334… this is a minimum of Black Diamond level membership for these premium seats.
I then pay the extra again - and have done since 2012 when it began - to be Club1870 purely for the privilege and rights to ticket priority over the lower membership levels.

This in no way means that I think that these members are any less passionate or important than me whatsoever - but, I 100% think that the more you invest in the club via membership and or sponsorship - the greater the priority access to tickets you should be afforded.

I was one of the lucky ones that successfully secure tickets today, so I can’t and won’t complain… but, if I didn’t - I would have been livid!
