Watching Duryea this finals series, it is hard to understand how he couldn't cement a spot in our side in his final year or two, became a constant whipping boy, but looks tough and reliable at dogs. Perhaps the kind of player that needs good players around him. Certainly seemed to go backwards after our stars started to depart post 2016.

The entire thing wasn't football, it was playing purely for a free kick. The guy's retirement will be better than his career.

There's more. I saw it when it happened. That's why Gawn complained with the "loud and clear" because the umpire mumbled who the two ruckmen were. It was a set play. Also watch Dangerfield, if he ran in a straight line at the ruck, he had a clear path, he deiberately runs sideways so that there would be a block. He blocked himself.
