I would be looking at the development of Western this year and see what trajectory he is on before I worried about whether to put my hat in the ring for Bolton. Both play every similar football with Western a better character and starting from a higher base

Bolton price will be a first round pick.

Some players add to culture, some are negative impact and some are neutral.

Bolton would never add to the culture but he might a nightmare.

The Tigers have a strong culture that has kept Bolton in line.

Plus, Bolton has already won flags and he might be just in for a pay day.

I’m kinda torn on this as I really rate Bolton. He adds X factor to the midfield and has been a clutch player in big finals at 22.
However I absolutely hate trading first round picks.
Let’s see how the season pans out. If we finish 5th or 6th and end up with pick 15 it might not be the worst idea.
But also agree with tonygeeks that we should be getting a Bolton type from the NGA... let’s wait and see how the season pans out and how Henry & western develop and what options might be around with our picks.

Yeh this is a tough one for me. I absolutely love Bolton, but another forward is high priority. Trading first picks rarely works out. We do however need to look to replace mundy when the time comes.

Normally I’d agree, but he has his flags, and with an aging list he may look elsewhere and chase $. Very strange to put it off till end of season this early in the year.

It’s a tough one if Shai came onto the market. He’s quality but would probably cost a first rounder.

I’m not sure if I would rather us use our first rounder on one of the WA key forwards. I think a lot will depend if Cerra stays or goes.
