Tom Brown at 21...
Could you imagine the melts on here if after everything we did to get and keep pick 21 we used it on a skinny half back from Victoria?
Fair dinkum, that's a horrible pick.
His dad only playing a couple of games in the last couple of years with Geelong meant he finished sixteen short of qualifying for father son.Haha that would be hilarious. That's the one that Geelong want and why they were pushing so hard for pick 19.
I'd just do it for sh!ts & Giggles and be a pain in the butt to Geelong trading him on the way back.
They also want local lad Knivett, so we have some options.Haha that would be hilarious. That's the one that Geelong want and why they were pushing so hard for pick 19.

He also has us taking a hbf with strong links to Geelong at 19 (Brown), then Draper 2 picks later (a medium forward/mid). We will need support for Ryan, Young, Wilson and Hughes. Clearly doesn't rate Clark or the Irish hbf-er we have picked up. Not sure what he thinks Walker and Chapman will be doing.Damn ESPN has Callaghan dropping to pick 7, one short of ours

I don’t think the forwards 10-15 years ago were that tall. Chapman is like a twig and how tall is he?That’s where Chapman will take the mantle of Pearce.
Elvis did ok against some of the best forwards in the AFL.
I see A similar player in Chapman.
Is Knightmare even classified as a journo?Whoever you are referring to sounds like he has little knowledge of our squad. Must be an East coast journo. AmIright?

Wonder if Geebung would do 22 and another pick in the 20’s for pick 19. Haha would be ******* hilarious.
Pretty convenient for GWS that there are two F/S projected to go in the top 4. Means they can match a bid for their player from pick 15ish on with junk picks that get promoted ten spots up. Actually our pick 69 would be about right for covering themselves off. Do they have a future 4th to trade?Picks 61 and 69 move up another spot.
Let's use those numbers... I'll work out what we end up with.Pretty convenient for GWS that there are two F/S projected to go in the top 4. My issue with Logue is the price we paid for him. I don't expect the club to draft a third defender with a top 10 pick. I accept he's still young and had his injury issues, but it's because we got him at pick 8 that I want (hope) to see him develop into more of a match winner - whether that's forward, or on the ball, or remaining down back I don't care.
(Maybe "match winner" is too much an ask - I'd settle for "match influencer". I'm yet to watch a game and think "Thank fu** we have Logue out there.")
Knightmare.
In fairness to him, my understanding is that he makes his rankings and then ticks down the list for the draft picks. If you're 22nd in the rankings, that's pretty much pick he has you at in his phantom. And Brown looks like a terrific prospect. Just the wrong position and the wrong club.
Daicos at #3 = 1787 points needed.
Uses up their #36, #38, #40, #46 and #48 for a surplus of 242 points
Darcy at #4 = 1627 points needed.
Uses up their #24, #41, #42 and #43 for a surplus of 343 points
Fahey at #16 = 854 points needed.
Uses up their #45, #47 and #64 leaving a deficit of 106 points
Fremantle's picks end up being:
#8, #10, #22, #53 and #61
The Pies keep their #55 and #58 with a bid at #3 - there's 377 points on the table there. They won't be touched unless he goes #1.
The Dogs hold their #48 (post Daicos at #3) for an extra 302 points. They can cover a bid up to #2 for Darcy.
