I can’t believe how sh*t this trade period coverage has been

I can. It's always shit. Although, in their defence, they're just about 7 days into 12hrs-a-day coverage where the only thing they've had to report are three predictable FA moves, a pick swap, and a young fringe player moving on. Most people who talk with nothing to talk about, usually fill the void with verbal diarrhoea.

If Xerri has cracked the sads and wants to leave because of CCJ then good riddance..there is probably only two (GWS/*) clubs that he’d be higher up the depth chart than he is for us anyway. Obviously has mentally conceded that Edwards will be a better player than him

Foxfooty.com.au understands the Crows organised for a swap of picks with the Western Bulldogs that would give them Pick 17, but told Sydney they would only do that deal if No.17 would be enough for Dawson.

You're right that Xerri gives his all, and credit where it's due, but I think it was the flying ham who observed that Xerri was the least impressive player in a side that finished bottom. He had a longish run of games, and made next to no impact. If he gets a better offer, I wouldn't be standing in the way
I think the fact they have indicated they see CCJ predominantly as a ruckman shows what they think of X taking the primary ruck duties. FWIW he is a very good tap ruckman and a big hard bastard, and he will take more marks as he develops but I think he is more Tommy Soup than Goldy

Half the deluded **********s over there still think they will end up with pick 20

There is a couple that throw out epic melts.
I love a good rant it shows passion.
The fact they still think 20 is on the table means we have more melts to come!!!

Crows are going after Dogs' pick 17 which of course the Tigers want. Let's see if this gets their asses into gear or whether they remain delusional about 20

He played well enough in the ruck, and not well enough up forward when getting an AFL opportunity. You can't play two ruckmen if both of them can't go forward.

As a kid who grew up a Roos supporter, I'd like to see him make it. I'd also like to see him fight for his spot though, Goldstein could potentially be in his last year and some growth from Xerri could see him in a tandem with CCJ from 2023 onwards (or if injury strikes Goldy in 2022).

Obviously not enough in our eyes for him to be on the outer. We seem more brutal in our selections.

I agree, I see upside.
