Very confident youngster , aware of his football ability, no harm reckon an extrovert whom is hard at it, athletic, skilled and good footy IQ , is just what we need, can impact the scoreboard too. What’s the knock on Phillopou?
190cm blokes that are quick don’t grow on trees so why’s he not top 3?
Is he an AFL level midfielder is the real question. If not, what position will he play at AFL level?
Many of the guys rated ahead of him have a larger body of evidence to be able to play midfield. This is why Ginbey jumped up the order, he went for a HBF to dominating as an inside midfielder at higher levels.
Good Mark and Kick will impact scoreboard, don’t think he’ll be available at p10., unfortunatelyWouldn't say he's quick by any measure. He's a good runner in comparison but he's much more on the Cripps side of speed than a Bontempelli, Danger etc. Strong over the ball and a good kick but he's not the type who's going to stream away in open space.
His kicking is a little dicey, that’s the thing, otherwise has good qualities Athleticism, almost 1.90 , strong and can rampage.Would you take a pick on Ginbey before WCE?
Any knocks on Busslinger. If we want a key defender surely hes high on the list?
Could be another troy menzelWhat’s the knock on Phillopou?

I like him to a Stewart typeWeddle for me if we're taking a defender.
I like him to a Stewart type
Any thoughts on Henry Hustwaite. Tall midfielder with skills who can play multiple positions.
Cheers..
Anytime...
Not suggesting he will turn out to be as good, but Weddle has Alex Rance characteristics
Smooth mover, great vision, but lacks speed. Also, don't believe he can play as a backman at the next level as some suggest
If you like Hustwaite, Billy Dowling who is very underrated would be a better pick. I rate his decision making and disposal ( although needs to look at longer targets by foot) amongst the best in this draft. Has more scoreboard impact and versatility than Hustwaite
You only have to say "needs to look at longer targets by foot" and I, sadly, automatically think of SPS.

Weddle undersized for a Rance role? Reckon he might drop a bit due to a lack of inches.
Dowling? What about Jakob Ryan? Smooth mover who can run and carry and kicks very well.
‘Really like Charlie Clark too. Run and carry with good forward defensive pressure.
I wasn’t that enthused when he first moved on the ball, just looked like another RCD but he’s improving at a very fast rate. Has gotten way better at getting his hands on the ground balls and getting his handballs out as the year has gone on.Any thoughts on Henry Hustwaite. I know some of these are gone... but this is my rough rankings at the moment.Contenders you like for our first pick LM?
Don’t rate Tsatas?I know some of these are gone... but this is my rough rankings at the moment.
1. Cadman
2. Ashcroft
3. Wardlaw
4. Ginbey
5. Clark
6. Phillipou
7. Busslinger
8. Mackenzie
9. Humphrey
10. Hewett
11. Sheezel
Which ever name is the highest, I would strongly consider drafting.
What this says to me (from my very limited knowledge), is that I wouldn't want us to trade our first pick (currently 10/11) in order to gain an extra pick in top 20 (to get say 15 and 19). Whilst there is a variation in order of top 12/13 draftees, there seems to be a consensus as to who they are. Just the way I see it at the moment, but understand the counter view point...Fwiw - ESPNs October rankings:AFL Draft Power Rankings: New names emerge in top 20

I think if Phillipou and Sheezel(current team needs) are gone before 11, then this list indicates we should slide back a bit to get Hollands or Hotton with our first pick. What this says to me (from my very limited knowledge), is that I wouldn't want us to trade our first pick (currently 10/11) in order to gain an extra pick in top 20 (to get say 15 and 19). You could be right
We should trade our future first for a late teens pick this year and a future 2nd or 3rd becauseWhat this says to me (from my very limited knowledge), is that I wouldn't want us to trade our first pick (currently 10/11) in order to gain an extra pick in top 20 (to get say 15 and 19).
