Cowan and George would be a great return. And I like all of Clarke, Hayes, Ryan, Richards and Barnett too.

yepHoping for George and Keeler tomorrow night
Here are my picks from the 13th of November. We picked up Allan and Jones is off the table. Hopefully we can pick up 2 more. Although I am starting to favour Van Es over Keeler.3 of the following for me please:
Hayes, Allan, Keeler, George, Jones and Barnett.
At 185cm I don’t get the excitement about George - especially given Henry was 189cm and considered an undersized forward.Cowan and George would be a great return. And I like all of Clarke, Hayes, Ryan, Richards and Barnett too.
Was Henry considered undersized? I thought everybody considered him a clear cut third tall marking forward and he was performing well at it.At 185cm I don’t get the excitement about George - especially given Henry was 189cm and considered an undersized forward.
Unless George has superior endurance and speed compared to Ollie, playing fwd (per his highlights) will offer no upside by comparison, nor offer much positional flexibility. Was Henry considered undersized? Nevertheless George carries much more upside with his power and strength as well as his midfield potential. Not saying he'll be as good but he displays similar strengths to Toby Greene

I haven't seen enough of him to say much as he missed a lot of games (and I didn't get out to many), but he is really powerful & quick with a superb kick for goal.Unless George has superior endurance and speed compared to Ollie, playing fwd (per his highlights) will offer no upside by comparison, nor offer much positional flexibility.
Only pace and a big tank offsets his lack of height, and only because he then has positional versatility that Ollie lacked.
As for the TG comparisons, maybe those who have seen more of George can comment.
He's a high impact medium marking forward with great speed and strength. He certainly appears closer to a full package than Henry and displays greater likelihood to play a part in midfield rotation. Most draft fans are of the opinion he would have flirted with top ten selection if he'd gotten a fair crack this year. If he's available at either of our second round picks, he's a potentially seriously high reward selectionUnless George has superior endurance and speed compared to Ollie, playing fwd (per his highlights) will offer no upside by comparison, nor offer much positional flexibility.

People around his O & M club (Wang Rovers) reckon forward-mid.He's a high impact medium marking forward with great speed and strength. “The Fastest” from the draft combine. He may be a freaking good player. Can't believe he slid, big bodied & super fast
Henry only performed well in one role in the seniors and that was as a second key forward to Mihocek. For that he was undersized and I have too many doubts about his other aspects of the game that would make him an effective third tall plus it’s not a role I value highly in the first place. Was Henry considered undersized? I like George as a classy replacement in our forward line for Elliot - not suggesting they are like for like, more the level of class that he can bring. At 185cm I don’t get the excitement about George - especially given Henry was 189cm and considered an undersized forward.

justifiable concern IMO.I like him too, but I am worried about the knees.
Can't believe how excited I was to see us select Allen - I've been on him since 7/11 - potential for a great 1:2 combination over the next 10 years with Naics. Wanted Jones with our 2nd - would be happy with any of the remaining Poster's Choice players that were nominated for our first (Hayes, Hustwait, Keeler, George, Hotton, Barnett) - get the feeling that the Swans might take Barnett at 27 - would be great to get Hayes at our 28 and Keeler at 30. For our last pick, Scully or Lemmy would be awesome: potential to have the fundamentals for our spine and midfield for the next 10 years from one draft. Here are my picks from the 13th of November. Agree, especially if someone like Hayes is still there. Not sure of the Eagles' likelihood of taking him with their Pick 29 - would be hard to pass him at 30 (although I'd have mixed feelings if it meant we missed out on Keeler)justifiable concern IMO.
All of Ashcroft, Fletcher, Michalanney, Rowston were bid on. The latter 3 were bid on a little earlier than most suspected. The only bid that was of benefit to us was the bid on Rowston that forced GWS to use live pick 17 just prior to our first, effectively leaving both Weddle & Allan on the board with only the Hawks (received by hawks) to pick prior.Sorry if it's been missed. What are our picks now after those bids? Have the picks in the 20s moved forward any due to other picks being swallowed up for matching?

If West Coast bid, Bombers will trade 25 into next year and use 49, 54 and 59 to match. So our picks will become 29 and 31 (but same number of live picks before us as there is currently)All of Ashcroft, Fletcher, Michalanney, Rowston were bid on. All of picks effectively benifited, hopefully GWS or West Toast can bid on Davey forcing them to use 22 taking another live pick off the table.
Not sure if Freo has a target in this draft, I wonder if they do that they will offer something like 41, 42,, 58, 63 and 72 for the Bomber's 22.If Dogs bid on Davey I would offer 27 and 51 to Bombers for 22. Thanks Dodo
What are your thoughts on who you think the Bombers will trade out said pick with and what they will get regards to pick swaps? If West Coast bid, Bombers will trade 25 into next year and use 49, 54 and 59 to match. Why are you worried about his knees specifically? Most players recover well from ACL’s eg Petracca.I like him too, but I am worried about the knees.
