On paper our draft was great.

But now its no longer names on a paper but players on a field.

We hit our needs imo though.
None of our draftees are plug and play and if we are fair dinkum that includes Phillipou.

There should be enough talent on our list when fully fit that allows these guys to find their feet and form at Sandy. Even if it means some of them are 12-24 months away whilst they put on size and strength.

Would've really liked Jaiden Magor too.

I think he might be snapped up before us in the rookie draft tomorrow.

Fantastic haul though. Couldn't be more excited with this group. Probably haven't been this keen on our draft since 2001

Something I hadn't picked up re: Keeler is that he appears to be a very quick decision maker. I like that a lot. Didn't seem to be much second guessing about what to do at any point. He must be very much in the Josiah Kyle mould of "not certain that pro footy is what he wants out of life".

Jeeeez we’re boom or bust here.

Pou and Hotton have just endless potential.
Add in Keeler and we’ve backed ourselves in big time with some high risk high reward.

Low key love it, the balls on this group.

I can't understand why Adelaide didn't nom this guy. Has me a little concerned. His highlights looks really really impressive. A rucking Buddy franklin.
I'm just guessing, but endurance is supposed to be a concern. Keeler is probably more of a long-term project and some clubs won't even look at those types. Adelaide was also in a very strange pick situation with the FS player they needed to match, so that might have been a factor.

I'm sure they'll get stuck into him the moment he shows any promise with us.
