Surely joking. Shiel's is shit and cooked. He should retire early.Would you Dylan Shiel? He'll be 30 by start of next season, so could prise him away from Bombers for a later pick and them picking up some of his salary. Not a solution to the long term project, but would help make the team viable in the next 2 seasons and the development of those around him.
Nope but id go after josh dunkley in a heart beatWould you Dylan Shiel? Shiel wasn't worth the effort when he signed the deal.... Even less so now.

Very much believable, he's with Paul Connors, right?Saw someone claim on Twitter we're talking with Andrew McGrath, which I actually believe would be entirely possible, but only because his manager is using "talks" with other clubs to put pressure on the Bombers to give him what he wants and given the way their season is going I imagine they may buckle just for the PR boost.
Surely that would be more likely to be a Geelong thing to do...Aren't we sending a raiding party to clear out West Coasts veterans?

I would be careful going after players like McGrath. Hasn't really shown a great deal at afl level and I wouldn't overpay for him. We need a tall mid in the Tom Green variety. Out of contract next year and offering him 1milliin a year would be money well spent.Saw someone claim on Twitter we're talking with Andrew McGrath, which I actually believe would be entirely possible, but only because his manager is using "talks" with other clubs to put pressure on the Bombers to give him what he wants and given the way their season is going I imagine they may buckle just for the PR boost.
I get it, but there aren’t exactly a plethora of those going around. Not many options if we strike out on Green (which is ultimately likely)I would be careful going after players like McGrath. If Green goes anywhere it will be to the Tigers who have shown big interest in him long before he was drafted and the fact his grandfather was a champion Richmond player doesn't hurt either. With Cotchin and Edwards coming to the end and the Dusty to the Swans talk again emerging cap space shouldn't be a problem.I get it, but there aren’t exactly a plethora of those going around. Dunkley I think would be a great addition, but it doesnt seem even remotely possible given his previous comments and also the status of negotiations with the Dogs. Personally I think the focus should be as follows:
This year - Caleb Daniel, Lukosious (don't waste the money on Rankine..)
Next year - Pickett, JHF, Jack Graham, Will Day
Even if we got 1 of the above we would be a better team....
We should be talking to Shannon Hurn about a potential coaching role if he retires next year. I think he would be a good addition to our coaching team if he wanted to head down that path. Seems very switched on and level headed when speaking in the mediaAren't we sending a raiding party to clear out West Coasts veterans?

The master has returned.Don't worry. I think the club is up to something big...
Why not both! We are clearly failing at one or both and you might be correct that it’s the latter. Can pick or can develop?
How big , big or massive ?The master has returned.
