I don’t get it, Cotts had a ripping game and has been showing massive improvement. He’s hard, bleeds blue, disposal has improved greatly & decision making progress has gone thru the roof.
Have a look at how hard Cotters ran to take that mark. Was at the 50 when the ball was kicked and ran 25m while the ball was in the air.

How elite was he versus Geelong?

Elite for low disposals and check out his metres gained. Below average for tackles, possessions, metres gained.

He just needs another ten percent Jump and for people to not overrate form vs weak opposition.
Trolling again pal ?...give it a rest.

people complaining about the woof..need to get over it

if bluebaggers go to the game and want to woof when a blue kicks the ball why is that an issue?

it adds to their footy experience. simple as that.
I don't understand this either. It's a bit of fun and it helps carry a famous Carlton tradition on to the next generation. People just complain for the sake of it.

How do you see Cotts and 2023. From an Austin list mgmt perspective? Is he best 22 or a squad player? Would you be looking to add a winger accepting the fact that he has filled in as a defensive forward.

Austin replaced SPS with either Saad or Williams. Take your pic. The biggest stat difference I could find was metres gained. SPS had such a low metres gained trait around 160. Cottrell is just a tick over 200. Despite a few highlights he kicks sideways. It’s important for a player wanting to play wing.

I don’t mind Cotts but I see him as a squad player going forward. I just don’t get carried away when we win a game.

I do take your point about improvement. I think early doors his metres gained was a bit lower. If he can get it to 300 it’s enough for a list manager not to look on the market.
IMO he'll play 200 games.

Anyone else notice Honey collecting a half volley while sprinting flat out? He’s a freak.
Mate i was going to say something like that last week, I'm seeing a quicker Alan Didak.

He is so ****ing fast, very, very athletic too. He is so exciting to watch and if he can get some confidence he'll be a weapon. At the ground I watched him cover a few meters at an incredible pace when that Giants player dropped the chest mark.

7 SI and was very unlucky not to be rewarded with that crunching tackle in the middle of the ground.

GWS board Autopsy thread is weird viewing. What little posts there are, seems most of them are commenting on the umpiring and how everything was going our way.

Thy would have a coronary.

My kids love it, they've seen nothing but misery since they started going to the footy. This year they haven't missed a game. They actually jump up and shout their lungs out. Anything that keeps them carrying on the Carlton batton in the the future is important. It's fun going to the footy these days.

Thought Gov was rusty, moreso with when to go or stay back, to punch or mark. Confident that decision making will improve

Voss intimated that saying he needs to again learn how to play with the current backline group and know when to go, when to roll back, who to cover, not to cover etc
