Is it just me or does it feel eerily quiet for us?

Feel like usually by this time in the offseason there's usually a leaked media report about the Crows working on some big secret deal. Which turns out to be almost nothing!

Our delisting's can only be a couple days away now that B&F is done.

Other than our 1st we don't have a lot of draft collateral at this point and there doesn't seem to be any of our players wanting out that would land is another 1st rounder?
No free agents or DFA's linked to us yet it seems.
Rankine probably sees our 1st rounder used in some form?

I think his luck will run out this year. He should have been gone ages ago though.

They probably set the date back in March, and wanted to be sure our finals would be over before the B&F.

Funny that Reid said only an hour ago he expects McAsey to be at the club, same as Scholl.

The reporting is kind of funny since him flying to Melbourne has absolutely zero to do with where he'll end up next year. BnF was last night, his season is officially done and he's going home. Absolutely shocking scenes here!

He admitted there have been discussions with another club though? Obviously need to listen to what he said to see the context

The lack of any delistings to this point implies (to me at least) that we don't have a clearly defined and concrete strategy or roadmap.

Any strategy that is based on 'let's see what other outcomes play out first' doesn't instill a boatload of confidence in me. I get there's an element of that, but the fact that we haven't made any calls yet is a worry.

I think they are now holding it after the grand final every year. I guess it helps set the expectation that we should be in the finals, and that should be our goal.

I'm not saying he hasn't had discussions or even that he won't be traded, I'm saying him returning to Melbourne today has nothing to do with football at all.
