I honestly reckon any team that would consider trading out of the top 10 would want to be getting a pick of value this year back, as well as future compensation

It’s why I can’t see Phillipou being all that realistic, unfortunately
Crows would have to offer their F1 and North's F2 at the very minimum and possibly another pick depending on what first round pick we're wanting in this year's draft.

I don’t buy the Crows having interest in trading our 2023 1st for Phillipou at all.

I do buy us canvassing clubs for a pick swap. I just think there’s an incorrect assumption being made that it’s for Phillipou.

Do I know who it would be for? No. But I’ll take the Volbeat mail about us being turned off by the Phillipou interviews 8 days a week over the bullshit being spouted by anyone else.
Maybe the Crows value Keeler a bit more than they’re letting on.

If that happens, they should close the club down.

That would be the most extraordinary overpay since GCS have up pick 11 for pick 28.

That's not happening.
We like Mattaes a lot but will only get involved if it's for fair value and that's not happening unless he slips to around the mid 1st round region which is looking increasingly unlikely.

Next years crop is rated better than this years and most clubs still think we’ll be rubbish next year. Our future first will be hot property. We’re not going to need to offer anything more than it if we want to get back in for Phillipousis.
I will always believe that GCS would have happily taken our first next year for Rankine. I just don't think we value Phillipou higher than what we think will be available next year.

It's honestly said every year ....same was said last year about this Draft ...plenty of talls they said, Lemmey to go top 10 .....will be a backend pick now

You simply can't make calls on 16 YO's nearly 18 months out

Our club seems to do it a fair bit. They place a lot of importance on 16yo form.
It's ridiculous ....players stop growing ....they can grow 10 cm in 18 months .....they discover girls

My best guess would be an exchange of 2023 1st rounders and one of our 2023 2nd rounders would be what we put on the table if Phillipou is still available around mid 1st round. Any earlier would look to be a stretch too far.

Adam D’Aloia ranked low in all. Isaac Keeler ranked 33 low. Good if he slides. How low down he have to slide to be a pick for us
