I've got my melts locked and loaded, if we give up the North pick for a 3rd round pick to come back, I will likely through my phone through the wall
Rick's invited us all round for a barbie tomorrow night mate, did you get the invite?

Plenty of opportunity to speak our minds then. Send me an email if you need a lift 👍

I think it is clear the pick swap will be slightly in Melbourne's favour. It just better not involve our Logue PP and preferably not our own F2 either.

From the day Melbourne drafted Jackson to the day they lost him, they have come out of this whole thing like absolute bandits.

Big risk using 3 on Jackson --> Premiership --> Replace him with a better (for duration of the 1-2 more years they have to contend) player in Grundy, plus have two first rounders left over. You'd struggle to even dream up a better return on a player, and they are still complaining.

Surely we’re not that stupid to involve North’s PP? We can’t rule ourselves out of two drafts.

I can live with our future second if we get pick(s) back.

The positive about getting this deal sorted earlyish- is we have time to negotiate deals for Meek, Lobb and Sharp (at the right price).

Will be pretty pissed off if we bend significantly here after they made out like bandits with Langdon at our expense.

Geeeez, if our future second is involved, regardless what comes back, that is atrocious by Bell
Anything more than a F3 for a fourth round back is us grabbing our ankles.

Once the Jackson trade goes through I want to see Walls/Bell go on Trade Radio and say we don't see ourselves doing any more deals this week (dramatic pause)... Especially any involving Rory Lobb.

The Colin Young melt would be even more epic than the one Snuffaluphagus has saved up for if that North Second goes to Melbourne.

A bit strange

AFL actually upholding a rule they’ve put in place

Interesting time to do it tbh, I thought it was a decent proposal

I actually agree with you. JHF was a pick 1, so you’d have thought they’d need to find that value and would receive an exemption.

That said, they still could e sought clarity before going balls deep into it.

Didn't dees trade all their picks away for this year because they weren't using them?

So whats gonna happen with their Bedford pick, maybe we give our f2 for an f3 and the bedford pick?
Yeah I'd be fine with that. Based on this year would be 13, 13, 32 --> Jackson, 42, and 35?ish

Walls/Bell on trade radio after Jackson deal -

Freo - ‘Yeah we have a contracted tall on our list that we’ll now consider moving. He’s an important player, but out of respect we’ll engage in conversations’

Trade radio ‘So Lobb is a chance to head east?’

Freo - ‘we were talking about Meek. Lobb isn’t being traded…’

Soft in the relationship just like on the football field

I have a theory that Lobb doesn't want to be traded but his committed to the WAG that he'll get back to Melbourne. He goes to Bell with his predicament where they concoct these trades that won't get done.
He can then say to WAG sorry I tried. It'll happen next year, guaranteed.
