Channel 10 twitter is guessing that Jackson is on a 5 year deal. Video also said we are waiting to see if Bulldogs “Pony” up Pick 11. Sorry channel 10 but that last bit just aint happening 😅
I like the way they're thinking though

Regarding the Jackson trade, I'm going to see how it plays out leaving my faith in the team's administration.

Optimistically I can see he's clearly a talent and prior trade history doesn't really influence or provide much insight into future trades due to the degree of variability from trade to trade.

Pessimistically as a Freo supporter from day 1, I know we have the ability to bottle these trades like no other team in the competition. The most recent one, Hogan, is probably now the worst.

In terms of spots left on the list - I think we have 3 left?

Out: Mundy, Blakely, Western, Logue, Tucker
In: Jackson, Corbett

I suspect we'll resign Crowden for one more year, trade one of Lobb or Meek, but keep a spot free for ATW (or a delisted free agent). This means we use three spots in the draft. Our hand is 44, 67, 76.

In terms of Lobb or Meek - I personally don't mind if we trade either (not both) for picks this year or next. We've almost ruled ourselves out of this years draft. However 67 and 76 should come in significantly due to bids and clubs bailing the draft early.

Acres?

How's this from the Lions if true, my God they are being right pricks

"Elsewhere, the Josh Dunkley deal remains in a stalemate. The Lions offered the Bulldogs picks 21 and a future first-round pick but wanted later picks in return to pay for bids on father-son prospects Will Ashcroft Jaspa Fletcher."

Trade Meek. Get Sharp. Keep Lobb.
Agreed.

There is too much of a risk of having a temporary pause in our rise with Jackson in and Lobb out. Keep him, move forward with the momentum, and continue to build a winning culture with this group. It's all about time at the top, there is a reason the same teams keep challenging / winning flags.

Mother of all ironies if Melbourne can’t get Grundy for their pick 27 and are desperate for a ruckman on the final day. Up pops Meek for 27.

Does the fact Meek has officially nominated the Hawks mean his manager thinks a deal can be done?
F2 must be on the table, you’d think we have to give something back though.

I doubt Hawks F2 is on the table. They were close to bottom 4 this year, and might be losing McEvoy, Shiels, Mitchell, Gunston and O'Meara. Lots of experience. They could be bottom 4 next year, even a smoky for the wooden spoon.

I want a pick for Allan (21 via Lobb trade), Lemmey and Hagan.

Cat B Scaife

Possible?

I think there’s both Scaife and Draper we could get as Cat B’s

You watch us get Schache when Lobb is traded and then dogs delist Schache haha.

To get Allen we’d have to use the Lobb pick that we dream of being a early 2nd

Get the Meek deal done for Sharp

I think in terms of team balance, Lobb has to go now.

Jackson and Darcy share ruck/resting forward duties, Meek plays the dutiful understudy and is ready to step in at a moment’s notice if we have an injury to either of those two and Rory rides off into the horizon with his buckets of cash and zero loyalty (ultimately not getting a game behind the Dogs’ plethora of tall forwards).

….and the Dogs (or some other Prictorian team) ponies up some decent picks for the big mercenary.

I like it!

Would need a few things go our way but:

24 (Meek) Allen
30 (Lobb) Hagan
39 (Lobb) Lemmey

If we're trading Meek and Lobb we should get Broadbent in the third round instead of Lemmey though. Scaiff and Lemmey are both KPFs so it's a bit of a double-up.

Meek and Bailey Banfield, straight swap for Mitch Lewis. Get it done peeps! :p

Can't see both Lobb and Meek going , One or the other , Remember Logue helped out in the ruck last year.

If we had a pick around 24 - AllAn (don’t think he lasts) or another WA boy rated around here, maybe Hugh Davies?
Reckon Allan goes around 16- 25.
Unfortunately right in the Eagles pick zone
