In all seriousness I think I'm now fine with Freo getting all these deals done. JOM will want some success after a career filled with little - I expect he'll work his backside off to help find that success. I think there is a risk with Sharp but like Clark I think he'll take the next step at Freo so I don't mind paying a bit over - his outside speed and run will suit our game style imo.

Happy to f off Lobb because although he has been important structurally this year think we can cover him just like we did covering losing Cerra. It's not like he kicked 50+ goals.

Let Meek go to get JOM/Sharp done - we have two high quality ruck options and we can get a mature age backup cheap in the draft if we need to.

We can get JOM/Sharp done for just Lobb if we play our cards right.

Possibly but I think we are pretty well positioned regardless. Walls has been a master of using late picks and we have some Cat B options if we want for this draft. If we can hold on to the North PPF2 then we'll be well positioned next year as well. I think we are well past worrying about having and using early 1sts.

I know others will melt over draft picks but ffs when we see so many busts in the draft I don't get why people get so precious about using an F2 versus an F3 and so on? We picked up some of our best players with later picks. If we'd given up any top 10 picks then I'd have been more concerned about our trade period. I won't be surprised if in a few months down the track we all realise the absolute ridiculousness of the melts on here over the past week or so.
