An aside - I can't profess to know much about any of the players we are looking at or might draft but I have enjoyed reading informed opinions on here (where they haven't devolved into extremely weird personal grudge matches) and appreciate the time people have put into watching games and providing footage and relevant links.

Curtin would be very good but you'd bet West Coast would be into him every minute he would be here.
We would have him for a minimum 3 years and hopefully in that time he is part of a side sitting right up around the top of the pile pushing for the flag each year..might be hard to walk away from that early on

Keen to know why you’re down on DeMattia?
Just a vibe ....the Draft focus is on his speed, but I have questions around his disposal / decision making ....and I'm failing to see where he's a good fit for our list mix, with Pedlar, and Berry similar

Swap Edwards for Wilson and I'm happy.
No, Edwards is the big body mid with pace and burst from stoppage that every bloody person on this board is screaming and crying for every year since Danger left. Wilson is a Half back flank, they grow on trees and our team is already stacked with them. There's a reason he's dropping down the draft board.

We would have got cited for tanking had we lost, no decent AFL team would have lost to West Coast unless we played our reserve SANFL side........
And yet the bulldogs, a better team than ours, lost to them badly the week before.. and west coast werent even playing with home ground advantage in that game.

we couldve tanked and have Nicksy say it was simply because we were so flat from the sydney loss.. he did all he could but couldnt get the players up for a win after that demoralising sydney loss.. the AFL wouldve shut up immediately.
