In a team with a firing midfield heeney would be the best forward in the comp behind Cameron and curnow. There's a reason he was AA last year. Gotta stop looking at him as some game breaking all rounder who can go into the midfield and run the game - that's not what he is, but for some reason that's what everyone thinks and expects him to be. He's untouchable for mine and should be a full time forward.
He is a FF. Just because he is not around 200cm doesn't mean he isn't. He is. He can leap with the best.

If he's holding a grudge over something said 8 years ago, he's gotta move on. Beatson was probably on the money with what he said and it probably helped make Oliver the A-Grader he is today.
I saw an interview with Oliver and he said what Beatson said hurt him. I can't remember whether he said it spurred him. Either way if you are looking to spend a first rounder you have to do due diligence. If a potential draftee takes offence is says something. Maybe the goose is coming home to roost.

Who knows? Maybe they seem him as their version of Brodie Grundy and they just want to cut and run when they have the chance.

All I know is referring to one of your superstars as a 'required player' sounds like the kind of thing a team says when they are preparing to discuss trades.

isn't brodie grundy melbourne's version of brodie grundy?

If I was an AFL player I wonder how the media would perceive my actions since I too would actively avoid post season celebrations and functions if I could, not because of any bad reason, but because I am an introvert who hates those sort of events.

Perhaps Oliver is just an introvert.

yeah, i'd hate all the drunken wrestling

This one. from around 16min mark.

A bit earlier around 14:30 when he said he faked a hammy so he didn’t have to do most of the running tests.

He's already won

2x AFL coaches award for best player
4 x b and f
3 x AA
1 X flag

So even if he never plays a single game I think he's already got beatson back with plenty of interest.
Not sure about any goose.

He asked Oliver in an interview “why are you so fat”
