What a night

1. Motlop’s tackle on Cameron
2. Cerra’s smother on Pendlebury
3. Cripps muscling Daics and Steele
4. Charlie’s 70 metre kick to owies
5. Holland’s coast to coast

6. Dutchy's tackle on 'faux tough guy' Maynard ;)

How epic is it to see our often maligned, injury proned players all on the park and playing well vs Collingwood?

Gov, Martin, Cunners and Marchbank are just so huge for our team...when they are fit and playing well they make us a far better team and each provide skills we otherwise lack on the list.

We've missed these guys over the years. Williams is the other one but while a good player, the likes of Cincotta and Boyd can fulfill his role.

Absolutely shat himself as soon as Crippa grabbed him 😂
Was all chest out to Mots & almost cried when Crippa stepped in 🤣

Haha gold...he instantly went from 'you wanna go ****??' to 'who me? I didn't do anything man' the second Cripps stepped in...can see it with his hand gesture and the way he looked down at the ground and jogged off 😂

Hahahahaha classic

Faux tough guy Maynard!

I'm still pretty much buzzing after this win. I really do think this is our most satisfying win since the 2013 elimination final.

It sure does feel like we're watching the giant finally start to awaken. The holy trinity of Sayers, Cook and Voss are about to lead us back to the promised land.

The fact Sayers stood up to Mathieson and has rid us of some of their influence is a huge win for the club.

Does anyone have the heatmaps for Doc and Newman? Has there been a positional change since our GC game?

I've been very impressed with Newman's role which now seems to be that half back distributor. While he doesn't have the explosive forward dash that Doc possesses, Newman's ability to sidestep an opponent, sum up the field in front and kick directly to a teammate is highly underrated.

Doc has a different style from HB of running forwards into the hot zone and bombing long in general.

Think some of it might be due to our midfield injuries and Doc playing there more.

But Newman is a fantastic distributor from defence so happy to stick with it. Its a good mix to have someone like him who is composed and a good kick, given we already have guys like Saad, Cincotta and Boyd who can do the run and dash.

Not really, even if Melbourne lose we are 2 games off them with only 4 games to play.

I'd much rather Melb beat Tigers to help us cement top 8.
Given we play them in those 4 games, it would require them to also lose to the Swans at the SCG. Or Hawks at the G. The Swans game isn't out of the realms of possibility.

Ha ha ha talk about taking one for the team! Good on ya mate, heading into that nest of vipers to tell them a few home truths.:grinv1:

Teams are scragging both Nick and JDG before they touch the ball in every bounce and ball up at the moment.
Did you reply to this one Irish just on colliwobbles board

They should change their last names to Curnow.

Free kick Nick Curnow

Free kick Jordan De Curnow

But TBH Pendles was walking up too.

Sure is. And would have helped having Williams this year. He will star in this system.

I know this isn't the thread for it, but on current form is have Richmond beating all of Dogs, Saints and Kangas. Dogs just copped another 2 injuries to key defenders as well so are weakened.

Those injuries will likely severely limit what the Dogs can do this season, but I don't think it'll have much of an impact on the game against Richmond.

The Tigers don't have much by way of quality tall forwards to take advantage of it.
