Made hard work of it in the first half, won it in the third quarter. Would have been nice to put them away, but can't be too unhappy about easing up a bit in the last given we're in the middle of back to back six day breaks.

Some quality to come back into the side next week too.

Another week, another bad performance and yet a win. I said before it that i thought North were being underrated and it was a 50/50 game and in the rnd it wasnt far off. They beat us 29 scoring shots to 27, but having two big key forwards and their lack of defenders was the difference.

But sheesh, how does a team that missed out on its first top 8 finish in over a decade (after badly blowing consecutive leads) by % put the cue in the rack that badly in the last 5 minutes and just concede 4 straight goals?

I love the fact that we don’t have to rely on our strength to keep us in games. We’re also beginning to score from our back half as well. Vossy and the coaches are putting it all together and we’re barely scratching the surface.
