Frustrating first half, exhilarating second half. Lifted our pressure and took chances and speed with our ball movement.

The two towers were on fire, happy they took advantage of North's backline being depleted. Hope it gives them a boost of confidence.

Captain lifted and lead the way, also noticed he focused more on getting it out of the stoppage and giving it to a runner.

Mots, Gov, Weiters, Cez and Doc were all really good.

Fish was good in patches, but needs to be smarter with the footy.

Shout out to Ollie Hollands, enormous game and should have the nomination this week.

Onward and upward to Adelaide, will be a huge test for us.

Seeing Jo clapping in the crowd with a stone faces Steve after Jack kicked that fun goal made me smile..

Son of Sergio still one of us, despite his falling out with the administration and working at St Kilda

Nice to win and all of that.

But they were basically missing their backline and their best key forward played injured all game.

Last year we were too attacking that defensively we had problems. This year, we’ve overcorrected. Last year we dominated in the centre, this year we are losing Centre clearances.

I’m hoping Voss can fix this on the run. No one should be getting too excited with that win.

no he was a liability. we looked better once he wasnt the first outlet handball option. curnow was a million times better.

I think we have to overlook his first six clangers earlier in the game when the heat was on - and celebrate the next 11 disposals- there is certainly something to work with there.

It was a choppy and inconsistent performance from a first half perspective, but hardly a bad win. We shut the gates early on Norf in the final stanza, racking up premiership points is vital and crucial at this point of the season (percentage can come late)

A likely chap called Sam Walsh is likely back next week.

The players (after long last) have finally known and matured enough to win games, burying teams when we have them on the rack is the next step (but it will happen)

I thought we were outplayed and lucky.

We lost the clearances, contested possessions, inside 50s and had less shots on goal. We were very lucky that they had key defenders injured and couldn't cover, and we got the rub of the green with the umpires and made the most of it against a likely bottom 4 opponent. To me, that's a bad win.

I don't think this team is playing anywhere near what it is capable of (and to be honest, i am not confident this coach can get us there).

But almost the best sign is how badly we are playing and we are still winning. If we were Geelong, with their experience, this would be how you set up a premiership run: win ugly early, build form and confidence and then peak in September. We are also missing a few key players and can hopefully mirror that, but will need to play a heap better than this to beat Adelaide or St Kilda in the next two weeks imo

Fisher shat me today, official whipping boy status has been achieved.

Jack silvagni's field kicking is normally excellent but constantly missed targets today.

Can only beat who they put in front of you.

I think we’ve had too much doom and gloom over the years, time to enjoy the wins when they come.

Was McGov subbed out with another injury or just to let Carroll on?
Got a corked hamstring in the first, the club rested him for the last.

We were missing 3 of our best midfielders

Currently they're missing Logue, McKay, Xerri & Bergman. Along with 1st year player George, who was out for the year when they drafted him. That's it. Way healthier list than ours.
