It's not about being kamikaze, it's about being pressed up a little better to force the opposition to up their effort to distribute the football, and to trust that your team mates know where to go defensively when it's their turn. The problem is, think about how many times we’ve said this since even the Teague days? We always have a faux comeback.
The point is, that kamikaze play style isn’t real nor drawn up, hence why we can never do it for 4 quarters.
Then when we have possession, trust that your team mates know where to go when you have the ball, instead of hitting static targets that aren't buying space. Every time you fall into that trap, you're gifting the opposition the so much value for every play that they make.
And finally, shut the game down when you're gassed by remaining mobile, just through aerobic effort rather than a surge of high intensity running. Don't let them lock in on what you're doing, take away their ability to have multiple players zoning off.
