Really ....what's the point

The days of shock inclusions / withdrawls is well & truly over ......spies everywhere

What's really the point of doing it generally?

I kind of get it when it comes to ruckman, but other than that?!?

It's fine to give players right up to the game to get up, but the ducks and drakes stuff I think is coaches having a fairly big opinion of themselves.

Sicil
Sicily will be tagged

Had 45 possessions last time v saints

Even Ross isn't that dumb to not tag Siciliy
Who with ? ......Windhager isn't tall, or experienced enough

Windhager has played 1 game at HB.
Ross moved Owens onto Sicily last time, and it didn’t do anything.
Windhager has played the last 2.5 games across half back. The .5 was when he moved onto Anderson in the 2nd half. Watched him closely as I needed his pts. Owens is the only option 1v1.

LOL @ Kayne Turner getting a game ahead of ANYONE on norfs list. What an absolute rabble

Well so much for being full strength, Yeo named as an emergency rather than in the team.

That means I will have to shift Docherty to defence and start Windhager in the mids, not the worst result though if Windhager can ton up again.

Love these weekly montages:

Clip should’ve finished with Sheed nailing that goal.

‘99 prelim still hurts to this day. 1 flag for the 99-01 era doesn’t do it justice imo.

Oh that '87 Prelim. I was there that day. Just over the fence from Buckenara. We all heard the siren, but the players and the umpires didn't and as a result Melbourne missed out on the first GF they would have played in the 21 years I'd been following them to that time. Incredibly mixed emotions between being so proud of what they'd achieved that year and so gutted by how it all ended. Yes, footy can bring out an amazing level of emotion for what is supossed to be just a game. But we all know it's so much more.
