Big game for Francis & Arnold given Melican’s twang.
I'd just rest Hickey completely, no point using up a spot.agree. We covered well last night when Melican went down. But we need another tall who can take intercepts And use the ball. I am really hoping Arnold steps up today and earns a debut.
Owen, Ladhams, Hickey and BigMac. Have we ever named four rucks before. Suspect there will be limited minutes from Ladhams and the cooked RJ. The contrast with the firsts last night who relied on an undersized HMac is stark. Hope those four big unco units do not get in Buller’s way.
Hoping Matty Roberts can play more minutes this week. I thought he was terrific when he came on last week.
Not sure if I should have added Gould to this list or not.Big game for Francis & Arnold given Melican’s twang.

It’s really hard to know where he’s at now - ahead of Arnold? I just don’t know.
I haven't noticed the weight gain but generally agree with the premise of him slipping behind his opposition for an AFL spot. Some of his ball use has been diabolical. As well, he still is getting burnt on the lead. I did however like his cameo as a forward in the Richmond game and felt he had a positive impact on our game. Maybe some game time there today?Nope. I reckon you were right to leave him out. Don’t think he is reliable and has burnt the ball a bit as well.
Sadly, I reckon he has accepted his potential AFL career is done. I reckon over the past month he has put a lot of weight on and it is not in the right places.
During season most players struggle to keep condition on because of intensive training and game loads. I reckon Will has put weight on. In fairness he may be carrying an injury that prevents hard training. Who would know?
At any event he is looking further away from another game in the firsts than at any other time In his time with us.
Not if Francis is out. And with 4 rucks + Buller to fit somewhere.I haven't noticed the weight gain but generally agree with the premise of him slipping behind his opposition for an AFL spot. Nah, I'd be playing stretch at FB, Hickey back pocket todayNot if Francis is out. And with 4 rucks + Buller to fit somewhere.
Is that near the centre old mateLadhams started in the ruck but feels like Hickey has spent more time there now. Encouragingly he looks a bit more mobile and can actually get off the ground in some of the center bounces.
