Very good quarter.
Mids winning the ball, Roberts ultra hard and clean.
Defenders winning their 1v1s, and forwards taking marks.
Unsurprisingly ruckmen going for goal is iffy but Gould's been great.
Promising start by Konstanty too.

Forward enties not ideal, some good ball won one on one,
Cleary looks awesome, doesn’t look like an 18 year old, could see him pushing for selection in his 1st year

He is a more ideal sub than what we have been going with imo
He only has a few games to demonstrate he deserves a contract - but the move forward has been a winner.
Brute power is a worthwhile trait - I’d actually be disappointed if he copped a delisting.

Roberts was awesome and Cleary as his able offsider.
Been calling for Gould forward for a while now, glad to see him getting a full game at it. He looks slow in defence because his lateral movement isn't great so he's often caught a step behind when his opponent makes a sudden lead, but his straight-line speed is actually fine. Give him the initiative and he's quick enough to get a break on the lead.
He's also a strong mark, booming and generally accurate kick, and he's not afraid to get low and compete at ground level. I hope we persist and give him a chance as a true CHF. If he's good enough today and the rucks don't press their case, you could even roll the dice on bringing him in for Buddy. See if there's enough to work with for another contract extension.
On another note, Cleary looks the goods. Maybe it's the haircut but he gives me Cunnington vibes. Reckon he'll play seniors next year.
Also Konstanty showing a bit. Looks a different player with a functional midfield. Also saw him press up the ground a bit, so body might be feeling better after his latest break.
Finally, Francis has all the tools but **** me he's a poor kick. Really want him to succeed, seems like a good bloke and puts in a lot of work but the turnovers under no pressure are killers.
