Great Sam gets to have a run around. I'm guessing he will be on limited minutes which will irk him. Suspect he will be aiming to stick some tackles and hope his shoulder passes muster.

Don't know anything about Tom Howard. bedford or anyone else

Only that he is a Sandringham boy

We will get a good look at Oscar McDonald and Marty Hore this week, both doing very well in the VFL this year as tall defenders.

Good to see Caleb Mitchell also on the list for the weekend.

As well as Hamish Morrison (who I believe is rustycrate's nephew).

Mentioned him earlier in the thread;

He's joined us from NM.
Relocated to NSW and now affiliated with North Shore as his local club.

Only played the 5 games for NM (reserves) last year, but did play with Hall-Kahan at the Sandy Dragons.

Mention of him from our VFL practice game v Brisbane;
New recruit Tom Howard impressed with some fearless tackle pressure up forward and two goals,

19yo 182cm 80kg flanker .

He played in the Casey game and I noted;
Liked Howard's first up game on the wing.
As with a number of our players drifted out of the game, but handy debut.

I think this will be just his second game for the reserves.

Thanks for that.

Good luck to young Hamish tomorrow

I watched them last week down at Franga. They had a red hot go in the last quarter but honestly are not very good. I think Balwyn would probably roll them. Barely local footy standard.

Dylan Stephen’s was a level above the rest last week. Will Gould was go though.

Game Day
who is playing from our emergencies Angus Sheldrick, Marc Sheather, Dylan Stephens, Lachlan McAndrew?

Reckon Gus is a definite starter and Stephens will be sub for seniors. I’d be amazed if Sheather plays a full game with the bone bruising to his knee - gutsy lad. Maybe BigMac plays limited Minutes and is an injury cover emergency if Hickey is damaged in the warm up.

Some of McAndrew's tap work is legit stunning. Loving HRH Rankin off the half back line.

Our three most experienced in Melican, Wicks and Stephens all look lively, would just like to see them use it better (Wicks' last play to set up Konstanty was awesome though.)
