So to confirm, Danny DeVito mixed with Hayden Ballyntine and Caleb Daniel?

I do think that once you are below a certain height, as a forward, then you are better off being shorter.

A 180cm forward isn't going to be using their height to their advantage. They are either going to have to mark on the lead or sit on peoples heads.

May as well be 170cm and be harder to tackle, with elite speed and a freakish vertical.

Unless you’re Charlie Cameron at 183. Flyin’ Ryan at 179 as well.

Somehow Watson is exactly what we need and exactly what we cant draft at the same time.
We have so many holes small forward is like a 4th or 5th need and his size makes him a risky top 5 pick.
Is he really that good he goes top 5?
You’d expect nothing less than bonafide match winner at that level of selection.

A selection a club like ours simply can’t miss in our current state.

We've definitely had lots of spuds. But the type I was focusing on were the ones I laughed at while playing for other clubs, only for one of us to get saddled with them when the dealing stopped. Like the Queen of Spades in Hearts.
Sam Power has to be right up there for spud factor.

I was torn between Mc Kercher and Watson , but I’ve finally come around to Soup’s thoughts and Nostra , who’s been yelling from the balcony for Watson, from the get go.
Forget X Factor, this kid will bring xxx factor to our forward line
I’m already calling him Ron Jeremy

And this is the exact reason why i get so tired of people saying we are so bad all the time we a crap and cant see what we are building. You have added one player to our side and made us sound fantastic i love the sound of your - our vision and that is just the Forward line . Bring in the Wizard and enjoy the ride.

To be fair... he has added two as sausage is pretty much a new recruit too

Ron Jeremy is horrible rapist and would be in jail until death if he hadn’t just been put into a mental institution, I think we can get a better nickname.

Love this.

There are quality midfielders every year, there are very rarely elite potential small forwards lying around.

How many quality midfielders are there in the competition? 20/30?
How many quality small match-winning forwards are there in the competition? 8?

Further to the point:

How many quality midfielders do we have/will we have on our list end of this year? LDU, Wardlaw, Sanders, Simpkin (Phillips, Powell)
How many quality small forwards do we have on our list? None
On this.. with next years top 5 looking like mids - any insights on how McKercher might stack up against the top end mids next year? If next year are just as, or more promising + we land Sanders it would lead me to Watson & Curtin at 2 & 3 with another top line mid arriving in 2024.

This is why I'm ok with trading our future first for a top 10 pick this year.
We'll have enough mids after this year, use the bonus pick on a top key position player while they're available.

Am I the only one who feels like they are not understanding niche ‘90s pr0n jokes?

I was a teenager in the 90’s. I had slow dial up and my parents hidden copy of Babyface until Optus Vision started showing soft core on Friday nights.

You and your wealthy parents…
Some of us only had Fri night SBS

I grew up in the country. Had to wait for the Sunday late movie on SBS
Damn… if only I could go in a Time Machine and find out what was on Sunday nights on SBS
