Daw 2.0? He was the leading intercept marker in the comp in the second half of 2018.

I don't hate the idea. But as with any list idea that gets thrown up, it's all about the cost.
I wouldn’t mind getting him as a tall utility assuming that GC require little-to-no draft capital, and they’ve just done the GC thing by backending his contract to 2024 and 2025.

Champion Data analyst Daniel Hoyne believes that North Melbourne should not trade Tarryn Thomas, after he produced an elite final month of the season.

Maybe we can go back to the CD well and appoint Hoyne as list manager. Worked well last time.

Finding elite talent is hard. Why on earth would we entertain trading Thomas? Just as much chance of a top 10 pick being a flop as Tarryn derailing his career again.

Who says we are.... could be nothing more than bored media.... Mr Conners himself is predicting a very quiet trade period so media will need to go with random stories as a long period otherwise

No to Chol under the Polec rule: never touch a player that went home and now wants to leave.

Although my 2+2=5 take on that situation is

Hardwick goes in Chol goes out, perhaps not the best of relationships there.

Fun fact ; I used to work night shift at 7/11 , Melrose and Carrick Drives Tullamarine.
Early uni days worked many Saturday nights. Heaps of North and * players would pop in between 3/6am for munchies. ( usually very pissed)
One particular * player had an obsession with porno magazines.
He’d go home with 3, he’d be back an hour later to buy 3 more.
Very strange man but funny at the same time.
And the Armenian lads who worked at Melrose Reception were funny buggers too. Reminded me of the actors in “you don’t mess with the Zohan”

Great days indeed, the late 80s early 90s in Gladstone Park

Gabrielle street was an interesting place in Gladstone Park.

Saw this on another thread, but Shiels, Free, Goldi, Drury, Dawson likely to be offered contracts to go around again.

Perez, Bonar, Young, Mahony, Spicer, Howe, Turner and Edwards all likely to be delisted.

Rookie list this year has Shiels, Howe, Turner, Edwards, Drury, Dawson, Free, Hansen. That needs to be trimmed by around 4 unless AFL extends rookie list spots as part of assistance package to give us a couple spots to add more/retain players to. Shiels and Free will sign on and Hansen has a contract. I think Drury could be elevated to senior list if we don’t get any additional rookie spots extended with Dawson to sign on as KPD depth regardless of whether McKay leaves or not give Logue’s injury and Young/Bonar/Perez being delisted.

All up that’s 11 off the list including the retirements of cunners, zeibell and hall, with George to come off LTI list onto Senior list along with Drury if needed. That brings our list size from 46 to 35, with four on the rookie list. Leaving 31 on senior list, with capacity for two to be added to rookie list and around 5-7 for draft and free agency inclusions.

Pick 12 for TT… don’t think so

I was thinking about this last night.

When Collingwood run out on Thursday night do you think they'll be regretting keeping Degoey? I think with elite talent(TT is an elite talent) you keep backing them in and you back your program in to get the best out of them.

Trading for unders now isn't our best option

I would have stopped in there at all sorts of weird hours too.
