Saw this on another thread, but Shiels, Free, Goldi, Drury, Dawson likely to be offered contracts to go around again.

Perez, Bonar, Young, Mahony, Spicer, Howe, Turner and Edwards all likely to be delisted.

Rookie list this year has Shiels, Howe, Turner, Edwards, Drury, Dawson, Free, Hansen. That needs to be trimmed by around 4 unless AFL extends rookie list spots as part of assistance package to give us a couple spots to add more/retain players to. Shiels and Free will sign on and Hansen has a contract. I think Drury could be elevated to senior list if we don’t get any additional rookie spots extended with Dawson to sign on as KPD depth regardless of whether McKay leaves or not give Logue’s injury and Young/Bonar/Perez being delisted.

All up that’s 11 off the list including the retirements of cunners, zeibell and hall, with George to come off LTI list onto Senior list along with Drury if needed. That brings our list size from 46 to 35, with four on the rookie list. Leaving 31 on senior list, with capacity for two to be added to rookie list and around 5-7 for draft and free agency inclusions.
Don't see Drury possibly making it at AFL level. We continue to make the same mistake of leaving players on our list for to long who are clearly not up to it

Keeping dawson suggests to me that mckay is gone
Sounds like it, but to be fair he's good back up either way and I'm a little disappointed he didn't get more game time this year. Certainly seems to have improved the longer the VFL season went on and showed enough against the suns.

I don't think anyone would be surprised by those changes.

Yeah would agree but as rookie pick up only last year, who also played out of his natural position in defence seems like Clarko has a vision for him and happy for him to be given another 1 year contract and if needed could be culled next year

I know it's a bit off topic but what Chinese Province does Choi come from?

The same one as Bok.

Whatever happens with TT, I hope the club uses it to maximum advantage.
Even if he’s planning on staying, I want every media in the country reporting we’re losing TT and McKay in the lead up to gf week when assistance gets handed out.
I think this is the manager putting it out there that TT has other interest to increase his value for his next contract, with next year being a contract year.

It would be a shit move by Thomas to push for a trade given the club stood by him through his recent issues.

I can’t see us agreeing to a trade while he is contracted unless it’s overs.

Highly likely you are correct. Manager is playing chicken with us and we are quite rightly saying there's no reason to rush into another contract for Tarryn.
