That just might be the play.
Cash in on pick 3 for McKay then grab a replacement next year as a FA.
We'll be lean on defenders while Logue is injured but until then its a growth year for the youngsters anyway. Which im expecting substantial growth.
We should have some bucks to splash about with no McKay contract, so Cox is offered that and/or a bit more to move. Plus we have JZ, Cunners and likely Goldie's salaries to replace. Between the four of them they wouldve taken a nice chunk.

I've definitely never heard this rhetoric before, and I'm positive that even if I have, it didn't have any detrimental effects on the club.

Just curious… why are Phillips & Powell excluded from this list?

Well no real reason, I tried to keep to those that had impressed me somewhat. Doesn't mean they won't make it.
Yes put in 3 unknowns, which are our draft picks in a couple of months. I'd like to think we're better at recruiting these days.

Would love both Phillips and Powell to turn it on in 24, would make our climb much easier.
