Dated a heart specialist a handful of times, she said that the blow does irreversible damage fairly quickly if you keep at it. You do damage each time.

Drinking can be bad, but you won’t have your heart cry uncle at 40 from it unless you really, really like it to Leaving Las Vegas type levels.

This is getting off topic but you're right and you're wrong. Cocaine is absolutely worse for your heart.

The thing is, your health is not confined to your heart and alcohol does a lot of damage to a lot of areas of your body (brain, liver, kidneys, etc).

Whilst there is an element of debate to it (as it depends on the measures used), there are plenty of studies to suggest that alcohol does the most harm (many more saying this than the altenatives): For example: Drug experts say alcohol worse than crack or heroin

(Edit: apologies if already covered - haven't real every post yet and was just replying to the above in isolation)

Don’t get me wrong I get the Schultz and Collingwood story, and I know I am in the McKay minority, but we need to be prepared to break through with our FA strategy. We realised with Chol and Ginnivan we had to be prepared to offer broader terms and money. This is a a good thing.

I am afraid the McKay pay will become the norm. It is fact. It is reality. That is what the market demands. Right or wrong.

I know we were prepared to ultimately go long term with big money if we were to land a fish like Naughton. It forced the Dogs hand at least, but that is where we need to go in my opinion.
We had to pay a bottom 4 tax. As a club that was sitting 16th we needed to offer big coin to get McKay to even look.

That changes when we start to climb and players have the desire to get on board(some may argue that this has already started to happen).

I have zero issues with paying big money, or long contracts for players. But McKay is a spud of the highest order and, to be honest, I'm relieved we didn't get him.

Paying the bottom 4 tax on a player like McKay is a good way to stay bottom 4.

Chol has had a 40+ goal season.. I couldn't see Kosi kicking 40 goals over 3 seasons
Took Kosi 2 seasons to reach 40 goals after never having played as a forward. Fair enough to celebrate Chol. No need to take parting shots at Kosi though.

Win the heart, and what goes into the wallet (or even comes out of it) ceases to be as important.

I think everyone is aware each of the players we added have flaws and that is why they came so cheap.

Simply put we have added 3 players who have kicked 40 plus goals in a year before and 2 of them you’d think has the potential to do it again.

Our forward pressure already wasn’t great, I’ll at least take some forwards who can hit the scoreboard if they are just going to run it out of our forward 50.
I know most people are aware.

I’m just a little concerned when we’ve added three players with similar downsides with defensive pressure and 2 of those with work rate issues.

Most forward lines without star power make it work through pressure.

Hopefully I’m wrong.

The price they're going to pay for that real life super coach game they're playing is going to be a lot steeper than the money he's on too.

A lot of people in any walk of life tend to compare what they're making to the people around them with similar or lesser ability, and then make moves to get the same.

What picks did we get from Bris for Gunners last year, and what did we do with them?
was pick 48 last year and their future 4th

Pick 48 came into pick 46 and was used on Jack O'Sullivan

the future 4th we traded to GWS for pick 51 at the draft and drafted Bailey Macdonald

Hopefully Sheezel can see how happy Ginni is now that he's come home.

And that he's allowed to play in long sleeves because his coach isn't a controlling weirdo. Let's hope Sheez has a burning desire to pull on the long sleeves also.
