I don't mind if it that's the outcome but I can't help but feel the improvement is too slow? North are being gifted so many picks across the years while we're having to take it one step at a time.

I wonder what we'll do with our future first. Geelong's Pick 7?

Our development has been quick imo, I didn't think we would be as good in patches this year as we were. Our lows were low but our highs were high. All to be expected

We still have Ward and Mckenzie to hit their straps (and hopefully DGB)

Add in Chol, Mass and also 2-3 quality kids this year and we are well on track

The only thing that could tip it our way is if we can convince a good player to be part of the deal and move to Perth. I could understand West Coast preferring a player they've seen at AFL level over just more draft picks. But if it comes down to picks, North have it in the bag with two picks before ours and all of the AFL gifts on top.

It's a kick in the guts. The value of our players are talked down and our target values are talked up. The media love it. They're all giving us kidney punches.
