To be fair it looks like they are putting big cash into making themselves into something. Have set up a Frankfurt research facility and have done a big rebrand this year and pushing electrics.

The Chinese are pushing to try to grab a big market share of electric vehicles. The engine seems to be the big reliability issue with cheap cars and electric should minimise a lot of that.

I for one welcome our new financial overlords and their lovely piles of cash.

It's a bit of a personal favourites thing though. Plenty bag Gresham, Billings, Howard, Clark and a few others and no-one bats eyelid. Go after Owens or King and you have some balls. A few sacred cows are off limits but generally we seem to hate most of the players on here. Even Steele copped it after one injured year and people questioned everything about him. I think impatience is turning us into campaigners.

Yes Steele copped plenty coming back early from injury which according to many is no excuse.

He was my son's favourite player when he was little. Bruce was a good bloke and seemed very popular with teammates when we used to get to club stuff. Maybe there was a falling out, but he was a confident guy, very friendly and generous with his time and attention still.

It seems like when we wanted to justify trading him we had to absolutely trash his character.

Seemed to me you were saying the club trashed his character as they are the only ones who could trade him. A couple of randoms on here is no basis for a conspiracy theory that 'we' trashed his character because we needed to justify his trading.

We needed no justification, he was ok at the Bulldogs, but we had moved on with our forwards. Anyway I never had a problem with Josh Bruce the times I met him, had a very good career for a gop and wish him well in his retirement.
