Go watch some of the videos where he talks about it. One of the most well spoken lads at the club, easily.

Don't go to his twitch though, man drops F bombs like it's no ones business. Virgin ears would be tainted.

Trades dragging their feet with us as usual

Hardly a surprise as all of our possible trades are not Tier One type trades that normally get done first.

Our trades this year both in or out are going to be done once other clubs sort out what picks they have left, and in our case what FA Compensation we get for Gresham.

Billings, Coffield, Dow all not likely to involved much value. Henry likely to have the highest trade price, but still not high.

Band 1 for Gresham may see us try and swap our first 2 picks to get lower. Band 2 will see us try to keep it away from Freo.

righto you knob's direct ya hate at the dons supporters, and not each other
I don't hate anybody on here. Aren't we talking footy? Just pointing out that during his Carlton time Stocker had severe mental health issues.
It has been widely and publicly discussed. Would have thought this would be a valid thing to point out considering he was being call a bust, rubbish and a reject.

Thought we had got past that sort of stuff, but seems when you point it out, people put laughing emoji's on your post. I have never thought mentall health issues was funny but obviously some do.

Guarantee we're going to end up with Shiel.

The only reason Essendon are taking time to make this formal offer to Gresh is because they're discussing it with us, otherwise they'd just smash the deal through like they did with the other two.

The only reason they'd be discussing it with us is if we're giving them something in exchange for a higher offer to Gresh.

What else could that something be except taking Shiel's salary off their books?

Knowing Dodo probably, he’s still wanting that Band 1 compo back for Shiel.

I doubt we do now, they’ve said in the last 24 hours he’s a required player and he’ll be there next year. And the injury and recent surgery might be enough to scare us off if it was a recent development.

He was not a successful first round draft pick.
Just as McCartin was not a successful first round draft pick.

Stocker was originally drafted with the view that he could be a good midfielder. Unfortunately that did not seem to be the case.
Good for him that he was able to still forge a career in AFL , and i wish him all the best.

I always suspected that Gresh was the real Flamingo. I think we have dodged a real bullet.

Yep , that was code for "talks between Dodo and Sos have broken down".

If it doesn’t trigger band 2. You match.

The likelihood of getting anything from note from a pick that far down the order is low.

Even if it triggers band 2.

You have to consider matching it.

We are talking pick 21 before academy picks here.

We should match band 2.

That was not the convo though, he was being called a bust. He was #19, had personal issues, then resurrected his career. Not a bust.
Is Blake Acres a bust? Sounds like the clubs that let then go are at fault, not the initial selection.

Not sure it's about the compensation pick we give back to them .... I reckon Injectendon salary cap isn't as big as what we are lead to believe (though Dildo wants the world to believe otherwise) and they are super desperate to get Shiel off their books ..... we have probably told them we are happy to take Shiel and all or a large potion of his salary but only if we get Band 1 compo for party boy Gresh ..... so the Dildomeister now has a problem of upping the offer to the Gresh Prince of Tullamarine without compromising their cap space ..... given they also now have to fit in Duursmaa and his vast collection of bows and arrows

Dodildo is like a wannabee pornstar boasting a huge pole and massive staying power but when he has prove it in front of a pr0n producer he is struggling to deliver ..... he is no Danny D

James Harmes to the Dogs.

They might have the worst 'great midfield' the game has ever seen.

Bont being a legitimate club GOAT is pulling a whole hep of nothing up in the eyes of the media and fantasy footy obsessed fans.

Salary cap is a massive issue for teams, ( though with the increase they can play with it a bit ), and i don't think any clubs are purposely paying massive overs on multiple year deals to help the players previous club get a better compensation pick.
Massive overs, definitely not, the Bummers aren't paying Gresham $850k if he's only worth $400k just so we get band 1 and don't match and/trade force a trade. But if they were paying 800 and that was band 2, they might bump it a bit so they're not forced into a trade situation where it costs them picks and/or players whilst still hitting their salary cap.

Daniher to Brisbane is a famous one where they "renegotiated" terms after 12 months to smooth his contract out over four years and if you remember there were some shenanigans when Vickery went to Hawthorne over his contract length which triggered an improved compensation pick for Richmond, so the clubs have been a little slippery in the past, but I doubt anyone is upping the salary to move the compo pick from band 3 to band 1 just so they don't have to trade.

Which would not be the Clubs preferred out come at all. Decent compo for him is our key to trying to get up the draft order. Next to zero chance without it

Pick 20 will blow out to pick 25 or 26. That is not a decent compo pick.

Gresham is worth more than that.

It’s a simple business transaction. If the other party pays-up it gets done. If not we match and keep our asset.
