Unfortunately.

It’s going to be bringing in kids and backing development and hard work.

If you can bring in another 2 first round picks.

That’s a good spot to be

I don't trust anyone stupid enough to work for us but this is a solid plan if they nail the drafting. Already Lyon's crew looks a step above what we had in development and systems and Toce looks to have done more in 2 years than Trout did in 10.

You can't draft your way out from mid table so have to find some talent pathways that are a bit outside the box. Finding under-utilised and fringe talent that we can get more out of and some VFL top ups would do me. Use all the high picks we can get at the draft.

I reckon we’re a chance to snare pick 7 especially if Gresh triggers 13

If Sanders is there I'd do it but probably take our chances with the 15 and 16 or what ever we got otherwise. If you can't get into the top 5 or 6 it's probably not worth it in this draft. Looks pretty even after the top run of kids.

the two first rounders are kinda dependant on the Gresham deal being right for us.

You telling me that they won’t be guns like their dad, who then continue to breed male champion footballers for us?

They'll grow up in the USA, so most likely they'll "have" guns.
Also they will be very good at American sports.

We don’t need more ordinary mids, if we’re not in the range we have other needs. Just continue to draft quality, I’ve been very happy with our picks with toce in charge. Let others reach and just continue to pick the eyes out of it. Can’t believe some are doubting the poo, he’s very young and will be a superstar Imo. Wilson, Windsor or one of the key backs are bound to be there at our first.

B: Tucker - ***** - *****
HB: Schultz - Logue - Weller
C: Langdon - Acres - Hill
HF: Crozier - Hogan - Henry
F: ***** - Lobb - *****
Foll: Meek - Cerra - Neale

Em: Balic

Pretty grim stuff if you’re a Freo fan.

Remember back in the day when they gave up the picks for Croad and McPharlin for Hawks to get Luke Hodge, Elstone (pick 20) and Sam Mitchell and then took Croad back off them anyway. Luckily McPharlin worked out because that was some shit deal.

System gamed, he is not worth pick three on talent but is on contract payment.
People rant about a compromised league and it didn't really bug me but this is rubbish. If he is pick three what would Bont or Trac be? 5x pick 3?

No pick 18 of course. Use some logic.

Qualified is a dubious claim, he's had more misses than hits in recruiting roles.

2015 - Elite drafting
1 Jacob Weitering
10 Harry McKay
12 Charlie Curnow
Henderson for a future first

2016 - Garbage
6 Sam Petrevski-Seton
27 Zac Fisher
Trade out Tuohy and the Henderson pick
Trade in Marchbank, Pickett
Rhys Palmer for pick 135 😂 (8th rounder)

2017 - Poor - 2 top ten picks wasted, TDK coming good.
3 Paddy Dow
10 Lochie O'Brien
30 Tom De Koning
Gibbs into 10 & 16 is good
Lots of pointless pick swaps to look busy.

2018 - Ok
1 Sam Walsh (fish in a barrel stuff)
19 Liam Stocker
Spend a fortune on Mitch McGovern and Will Setterfield
Trade up to get stocker on draft day

2019 - poor
17 Brodie Kemp
20 Sam Philp
Shitloads of pointless trades to look qualified again.
Carlton bid on every academy player to look busy.
The future 1st they traded out becomes Sam Flanders at GCS

There's a bit of Chris Pelchen vibe about that 2015 draft, after fluking one draft he's set-up for years despite disastrous performances.

He also seems hellbent on 'being right' about players who he's drafted that haven't worked by trading them back to the next club who employs him.

At least bankers and corporate lawyers have brains even if they're not completely across the industry.

Not sure about SOS's IQ, was a good footballer though.

2015 super all around. Massive win after win.

2016 - SPS and Picket were both fails. Fisher is a very good bread and butter player who plays in most teams week in week out. Marchbank is a good footballer who has been hit bad by injury. Tuohy trade a fail.

2017 - Dow has shown he can still become very good but not pick 3 good. LOB is okay but went to high. TDK was a huge win at pick 30. Gibbs trade was a massive win.

2018 - Walsh was a no brainer win and Stocker looks about right at 19. McGovern fills a required position and is solid and Setterfield is very good. The fact the blues traded Setterfield and delisted Stocker is there loss. Would love Setterfield in our colours. Straight upgrade on Ross and a lot younger.

2019 - Kemp is solid. Philp was a fail but at the pick it happens. The fact GCS turned their pick into Flanders is a moot point.

Not a disaster by any stretch. Solid.

I would give SOS a B+ rating.

We will see how much SOS loves his old work with Lochie O'Brien. Had some OK games. Not a game changer but plays his role.

Delisted by the Blues so it's a free swing. If we lose DMac then LOB is a walk in replacement as depth on the wing.

He could be handy depth at Sandy. He played okay when he could get in the side last year. Acres ironically probably killed his career.

No, the convo was actually about SOS's track record of managing lists… but you've strangely honed in on this small element and attempted some bizarre besmirching smear campaign. The assertion that I am singling out and calculatedly attacking a person who is struggling with mental illness is disgusting and I won't accept it.

When you remove context, you lose all meaning and all you're left with is your dick in your hand.

The high horse stuff is pretty pathetic, particularly from you.
No you were calling players busts because they had been delisted, one not even being delisted.
You then posted that Stocker was drafted at pick 4 which was 19.
Then you had a great old emoji laugh about my post regarding Stockers mental health.
I am not on any high horse, just pointing out what you posted.
That's cool, up to you how you react to info regarding a player, you obviously have different standards to me. That's something for you to address, nothing to do with me old mate.

Whats the hold up with Dildo? Hurry up and give us pick 13 so we can win the trade period.

FMD last time we got pick 13 from a free agent leaving it landed us Tom Lee.

And that FA also went to Essendon...

Maybe they are haggling over movie rights?
