I think 1 half back, 1 mid, 1 wing then Smith.

Their stocks aren't that bad, they've drafted in the areas that have been hit in recent years. So I think they just top up in these areas.

2 mids and a HB (running) for me. The second mid may be a wing type to eventually replace Kelly. Won't happen but they'd love the best winger to drop in their lap.

Cumming is an outside player, and Perryman is hardly some key tall. The point is the last need they need is some tall. A running HB sure go for it, a mid, winger, no issue. A key tall or a ruck? Seriously they are the last needs. If Armstrong is there he might be 'best available', would be the only time they would
Changing the goal posts eh.

Neither Cumming nor Perryman are mids, which was your claim.

They did not attend a single centre bounce between in 2024, as an inside or outside mid.

Can they play on the wing, yes, so at best they are HB/wingers. Not mids.

Which is why to replace them you'd bring in similar types, not mids, though they might bring in 1 for Peatling.

They still aren’t key position players, at best they are the so called utilities. They won’t take a key this draft well they shouldn’t

I'm much more open to trading back or in to the future than forward. Generally it costs too much to trade up unless you find someone who has a particular desire. I'm thinking split one of our firsts for two second rounders or a second and F2. There are a lot of players that are going to be available in the 30s that look appealing to me.

I wouldn't rule out trading up (assuming it's possible) but only for a player we absolutely have our heart set on. Or, someone said Saints might do 8+32 for 19 + 22 + 44. I can't believe the Saints would do that but if something stupid like that comes along then, sure, I'd certainly do that trade if it were offered.

Not interested one bit of trading anything into the future this is a significantly better draft.

Saints would have to beyond bonkers to take that deal. They won’t.

Either he is about to re-sign or the club is now just trolling their supporters.
This just solidifies my belief that he should move up to half forward, with still about 20-25% of CBs, late in qtrs / last qtrs. After a summer spent on tackling drills and 2nd efforts.

Can’t see him signing behind fa unless the club backs up the truck to his place on a 8 year 1.5 pa deal
Isn't it 3 years to get him to the 8 years minimum for restricted FA under the assumption he is in the top 11 paid players at the club
